I'm Interviewing Roger Clark Soon. Questions you want to ask him?

Hey all! I'm interviewing Roger Clark soon, he did the voice of Arthur Morgan in RDR2, if you're unaware.

Thought it'd be nice to see if patrons had any questions for him that I could ask! I can't promise I will ask every single one or it'll make it into my video with him, but if you had a question for him, what would you ask?

Comments

Would love to know how he feels about the different endings for Arthur, and which one he feels embodies Arthur's character the best.

Keyless

I would also love to know how difficult it was for him to take on the role as the game was a prequel and he was pretty much playing a father figure to the original protagonist in John? Was there anything he there was nervous about in taking on a role of the importance?

Shadow

Could you ask him how he approached taking on such a difficult character in Arthur? How he prepared and sowed the seeds in his performance for Aruthr's eventual change in later half of the game?

Shadow

One last question that just popped into my mind while playing. Was he actually held upside down in the mission where he gets caught by Colm? 😭

A Malik

Did Roger take inspiration from any classic Western films/characters for his portrayal of Arthur?

John

Also, what are his thoughts on the Pinkertons attempting to sue Rockstar / Take-Two shortly after the game's launch?

A Malik

What was it like trying to remain secretive under Rockstar's NDA?

A Malik

I think it's kinda hilarious that Roger didn't initially like Abigail as a character up until recently. I'd love to hear Roger go more in depth as to why he didn't like her, and what made him more sympathetic towards her issues with John. And thank you to Roger and everyone else for their wonderful work on this game. With love, hell world

oh

Make his say "Whats Up Everybody? This is the Roger Clark here!" In your typical video greeting 😁

Adriaan Van Niekerk

Could you ask him his thoughts on how Red Dead 2's openness and size both positively and negatively affects the story/gameplay/presentation of the the game? Obviously an open world is crucial for this type of game, but when does a world become too open?

GarlicIsNice

Ask him if there was any improvisations that he did that he felt as Arthur made more sense for the character or for the scene than what was written or if he had any sort of input on that part of the process at all, whether during mocap or voicing or what have you.

Michael M.

Has he or any of the other actors played the game? Ned Luke plays GTAV but Ray Liotta never played Vice City.

Canadian Comedy

Ask him what was his most challenging moment when playing as Arthur.

IgneousPine

Ask him what his favorite part of Red Dead Redemption 2 was. Like his favorite line
