August/September Newsletter, Plans & Future Videos

Hey all! Apologies for the wait on this month's newsletter. I have been quite busy as always lol. Just a heads up in September I will be going on 3 separate trips. One to Ohio for a wedding, another to Hawaii for 10 days and then to HCS Orlando in late September. So that month is likely going to be light on the uploads but I will try to get the work done before and in-between those trips!

Why Was Yugioh SO AWESOME?! And... What Happened to it?

Been hard at work on a Yugioh review which will cover the card game, it's evolution, what I love about it and what I think is stupid about it. This video will be treated as a main review and will have the effort of that! I've got a pretty cool skit in the works, one that might be my most ambitious and if there's time I'll collab with some Yugioh YouTubers on this video or a separate video on Act Man TV.

Very excited to share this video! I am hoping to get this video published by September 2nd (the day I leave for one of my trips.) 

Red Dead Redemption Review

YE READ THAT CORRECTLY, PARDNER! Ya boi is finally making good on his promise to play/review both Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2. Already been recording footage, streaming it on Twitch and taking notes. I'll be periodically playing Red Dead 1 while working on editing for the Yugioh video, that way my work/play balance will be somewhat even. Expect this to drop IDEALLY in mid-late September!

Why Are Battle Royale Modes SO POPULAR?! 

Since I'll be on vacation, I'll need to have my editor work on some videos while I'm gone. This will be a high priority since it means SOME work will be getting done while I'm gone. I thought it'd be interesting to dive into why Battle Royale Modes are so popular and what exactly their appeal is. Though, I may have to hop into a few matches of... FORTNITE *shudders*

Regardless, I may not have to capture TOO much gameplay in order to make this video and hopefully my editor can pick up the editing slack for me! No definite timeline on this video yet. 

Is Game Development Harder?

Recently, I got into a bit of debate with some game devs on Twitter and I thought this idea would make for a great topic of discussion. I could interview any devs that are willing to hop on and splice together some kind of coherent interview. Could even have Marty O' Donnell or Hardy Lebel on again! In addition to some others. This is a video I would have to edit and right now it is somewhat of a low priority.

Gears of War 1 Review OR Red Dead Redemption 2 Review

Just thought I'd mention that I'm in the mood of reviewing some of the highly requested games, and I might do Gears of War 1 after Red Dead & Yugioh. However, I kind of want to start getting in the habit of reviewing a game series before moving onto another. So I might do Gears in October, if not, then it'll be Red Dead Redemption 2.

Act Man TV - Battlefront 2 Playthroughs

I've also just finished putting together the stream highlight videos for my Battlefront 2 (2005) Series. This should all be dropping on Act Man TV in the next week. So stay tuned for those! My plans for the 2nd channel are to alternate between discussion videos and gameplay/commentary videos. Think it'll strike a nice balance and it'll allow more content to get published!

The Act Man Archives

So I mentioned a Stream Archive channel, I wanna get it up and running but I want to keep most of my time focused on main channel content, then streaming, then 2nd channel content. Hopefully I can get Jmak, Paragon or some other buddies to help manage this channel. I'm going to see if I can commission a channel logo/banner as well as get it linked and verified with my main channel! 

This will likely launch in October as it is somewhat of a low priority, but I have kept MOST of my streams that I've done on Twitch! 

So those are my plans for the next month and a half. All subject to change but that's where I'm headed. Hope you are all looking forward to the AMAZING content! Thank you everyone for your constant support. You really help me to have the greatest job in the world!!! <3
