A Difficult, Honest Goodbye.

Hey everyone,

This was the last update. I released the final 15 pages today, and after this I will stop creating this kind of content for good.

I want to be completely honest: the reason I ever made these comics was because of my own urge and fascination. I love transformation stories—especially male-to-female. That fetish has always had a strong pull on me, and I’ve always found it exciting to create worlds where a masculine man suddenly becomes a beautiful young woman. Later I tried shifting to female-to-female transformations, but at the core it was always the same thing: “pretty girls becoming pretty girls.”

And the truth is, I do love that content. I love it as a consumer. But spending almost 90% of my free time producing it, building an identity around it, chasing audience expectations—this is not a path I can keep walking. It’s not sustainable for me as a person.

So I’m making the hard choice: I’m ending it here. This identity is gone, deleted, because I know I’m too weak to resist coming back if I leave the door half open. That means this Patreon, along with my DeviantArt and YouTube tied to this project, will all be deleted. On Friday, August 29th, I’ll start the final deletion process. Patreon might take a day or two, but billing will stop and everything will be gone soon after. Please download anything you’d like to keep before then.

I want to thank you for the support you’ve given me along the way. Even though I’m shutting this down, I don’t regret making the work—I learned a lot about myself in the process, and that’s priceless.

This Week's 12 Pages & Some Thoughts on the Process

I also wanted to share a bit about what I was focused on this week. I was really wrestling with the script itself, thinking hard about how to make the story and characters even deeper. I'm constantly asking myself: how can the visuals tell a story that the text doesn't? How would these characters really behave in this situation?

It's an ongoing process of discovery. This means that as we go forward, you might see small changes here and there as I find a stronger line of dialogue or a more powerful character beat.

Pacing, Psychology, and the Promise of Action

Hey everyone,

I wanted to use this Saturday's post to talk about the shift in tone you're seeing in Chapter 2. Chapter 1 was the hook—the action, the infiltration. Chapter 2 is the consequence, a deep dive into the psychological horror of Maya's world. This is crucial for the story's foundation.

That said, I'm also keenly aware of a lesson I learned from a previous project: a story can get bogged down if it's all talk. Finding the perfect balance between deep character work and forward plot momentum is the key challenge for this chapter, and I am watching it like a hawk.

My promise to you is this: we are building the necessary tension now, but you won't be waiting long for the payoff. I am committed to keeping the story moving, and the action will kick back in within the next 20 pages. Honestly, I'm just as excited to get to those scenes as you are.

The foundation we're laying now will make the coming action that much more impactful.

Behind the Scenes: My Evolving Creative Process

I wanted to use this Saturday to share a bit about my process and the evolution I'm going through as a creator, thanks to your support.

When I started making comics, my approach was simple: set up the characters, point the camera, and render. The results were more like documentary snapshots than deliberate storytelling.

In the first image, the lighting is flat, the colors feel random, and the camera acts merely as an observer—there's very little intention behind it. I break this image down into two separate shots that follow, both of which feel much more intentional.

With "This Empty Vessel," I'm consciously adopting the principles of cinematic storytelling.

Every camera angle, every lens choice is a deliberate decision to make you feel something—vulnerability, power, claustrophobia. The same goes for color. I'm learning to use specific color palettes to enhance the mood of a scene, instead of just using whatever looked bright. The goal is to create a cohesive, atmospheric world that pulls you in.

It's a huge learning curve, but I'm obsessed with getting better and creating something truly special. Your support on Patreon is what makes it possible for me to dedicate time to this kind of growth and not just be a content machine.

My goal with this wasn't to replace the comic, but to create a new way to experience it: a "motion comic" that blends the static art you know with animated clips to bring key moments to life. It’s a hybrid format that adds atmosphere, tension, and motion to the story.

A Full Video for Chapter 1 & Schedule News

Hey Everyone!

To give Chapter 1 of 'This Empty Vessel' the proper send-off it deserves, I'm focusing on something truly special this week. I'm creating a full video of the entire first chapter! This won't be just a simple slideshow of the pages. Instead, I'll be transforming each page from an image into a dynamic video clip, complete with audio in some cases.

To achieve this, I'll be using Veo 3, one of the most advanced AI image-to-video models out there. Expect something big to be coming your way soon!

As an example of the quality I'm aiming for, here's a small preview. (The final version will be even more polished—for instance, the ASMR-style folder tapping sounds in this clip won't be in the final product).

This is the kind of quality you can expect, and I'm pushing to make it even better.

Schedule Update & The Road to Chapter 2

I also need to update my schedule. I'll be honest, my initial timeline was a bit too rushed. After mapping everything out yesterday, I realized that producing this full-edged video while also creating the first ten pages of Chapter 2 would compromise the quality of both. I want to give each part of this project the care it deserves.

To do this, I'm tweaking the schedule. Here is the new plan:

• The Full Chapter 1 Video: I promise this will be available to all paid-tier patrons by next Monday.

• New Pages from Chapter 2: The first pages of the new chapter will begin to arrive two weeks from now.

This extra time for Chapter 2 is crucial. I'm planning to introduce a brand new sci-fi environment and two major new characters. Getting their designs and the new setting just right requires more than a few hours of work, and I'm excited to put in the time to make it incredible.

Weekly Update: Quality, and the Road Ahead for "This Empty Vessel"

Hey everyone,

First off, a huge thank you for the incredible feedback on the first pages of "This Empty Vessel." I'm glad you're enjoying this new direction as much as I'm enjoying creating it.

Last week, the momentum completely took over, and I released 22 pages. My commitment to you is quality over quantity, and I'm focused on proving that I can create visual stories that are truly worth your time.

With that in mind, the next update of 8 new pages will be released tomorrow (Monday). This brings the total page count to 30, which means we've successfully hit the first 30-page milestone I set for this early stage of the story, right on schedule.

The story will likely spend another week(or two) in the current environment before we switch things up with new characters and locations. I'm incredibly excited about where this is going, and I'm taking the time to make every chapter count.
