June, 2019 Newsletter & Upcoming Videos

Hey hey! Act Man is back and I've been busy. Here are the things I'm working on for the month of June. After my previous post about struggling with work, I am feeling REALLY good about what I've got planned for this month and my ability to meet those goals. If you've seen my most recent post, then you know I am also going to upload some new channel art when I hit 600,000 subscribers!

Relaunching r/TheActMan

A long, long time ago a subreddit was created by a hardcore fan and I told him when I hit 100k subs I would officially promote it. Welp, I've slacked off long enough and I am ready to relaunch it, announce it on social media, in a video, etc. I envision r/TheActMan to more or less be a place where fans can talk about my videos, the games I cover, gaming news, you guys can put out polls for me to review games, etc. Stay tuned for more information on this! Also I am looking for moderators if you would like to be one please tag me in the Act Man Patrons & Homies discord server.

E3, 2019 Video

I really like the idea of a yearly E3 Video as a tradition, most people do it and I'll do it too. HOLY TITS THEY PUT BANJO-KAZOOIE IN SMASH!! I am BEYOND excited for that. You guys have no idea, I actually have a Banjo-Kazooie tattoo that I've never showed anyone online. But there are plenty of E3-related games, DLC, and announcements I want to talk about, make fun of, do the Act Man thing. I'm going on a trip from the 13th-16th so I aim to get this E3 video out by Thursday or at latest, scheduled to post on Friday.

Halo Infinite Trailer Video

I thought about lumping this one in with my E3 video but hell NAW!! The Discover Hope Trailer and all the news surrounding it deserves it's own separate video which will definitely be posted next week. Although, if I can record it before I leave Thursday, I may or may not have an editor help me with some of my videos...

Halo Wars 1 Review - Awesome?! Mediocre?! 

Halo Wars 1 is my next big project that I will have finished near the end of June. The development of Halo Wars is so damn interesting, and it was the final game Ensemble Studios put out before they were shut down by Microsoft. A lot of time & effort has gone into researching the development because of how important it is to understanding Halo Wars.

At this point, I am not sure what the title will be. It might be an AWESOME review. Or AWESOME & BAD. Or it could even be MEDIOCRE. Time will tell but right now I have very mixed feelings on the game. It will be nice to finish this video so I can say I have OFFICIALLY reviewed every Main Halo game!!

Halo 5: Guardians FULL REVIEW (One Video)

This is a small point, but I just thought of it. Once I put out my Halo Wars review I will probably upload my full Halo 5 review into a single video, and give time stamps for all the different parts/sections. I may spruce up certain parts of the video. I want to have a full playlist of all my Halo review videos for the sake of simplicity.

Act Man TV

For the 2nd channel, I will upload the next two levels in my Halo 3 Legendary Playthrough which will be #3 Tsavo Highway & #4 The Storm.

I want to talk about the Banjo-Kazooie Smash reveal as a part of my E3 video for the main channel, but I want to have an extended video for the 2nd channel. Perhaps a longer discussion or a montage to show the journey and my appreciation for this move by Nintendo and Microsoft.

Aside from that, I might do a discussion video about "What REALLY Is Clickbait?"

as I have wanted to do that for some time.

Conclusion

So that will be all for this month! I will hopefully find time to write a mid-month newsletter around the 22nd of June to update you all on how these goals are coming along.
