Video progress!
Added 2019-04-24 13:49:53 +0000 UTCSo! The next major upload is getting done, slowly but surely. The first step, writing the script, has been in the works on and off since... I think October or November. The script itself has undergone more revisions than anything else I've ever worked on, but I'm finally at a place where I'm starting to like it.
The topic is Adaptive music in gaming, and why it's the coolest shit ever. If you're wondering what it'll be like, think less jontron, more nakeyjakey i guess. Less jokes, but still a fun jovial tone.
I've recorded the script in its' entirety a few times, and I'm nearly done compiling what I refer to as the "audio skeleton" of the video, which is step 2. Here's what it looks like atm:
I've also simultaneously been taking some of the first steps into the animation side of things by throwing together storyboards and commissioning backgrounds based off of them. Here's some of what I have so far.
And here's the first background, fully realized, save for some minor adjustments.
Personally I think it looks really fukin' good, and it'll be an interesting challenge to make my animations fit into this visual style.

Anyway like I said progress is slow but it's moving along. I'll try to keep y'all in the loop every few weeks or when major progress is made
