Purple: Purple's rarity in nature gives it an air of mystery. It's also associated with creativity and the realm of fantasy—think how many times magic is portrayed as purple in pop culture! In history, it was also associated with wealth and royalty, since purple dye was incredibly expensive! It combines the stimulation of red and the calm of blue, to create a wonderful balance.
Seashorse: The seahorse is an amazing little creature. Given it's looks and its size it's no wonder that it's charmed people the world over. However, this small little animal isn't quite strong nor fast in the water, so it's quite vulnerable to those who would wish it harm, and even those who might not. Another interesting thing about the seahorse is their loyalty and devotion. They are rare as a fish, as they are completely monogamous! They also wrap their tails around their mates so they can stick together through times of turbulence and to keep one another safe. Needless to say, just because you might be small, does not mean that the things that you do are not mighty.
Valentine's Day: It's been a while since this has been a choice so I thought I'd bring it back. We all know commercial Valentines Day is a time to spend way too much money on lavish gifts to prove that you love your significant other. I want to celebrate it as love in many forms. Romantic, platonic, familial, Self love. I feel like showing love or giving something sweet to someone you love shouldn't just be for romantic reasons. There are many types of love in this world, and we should celebrate them all!
