My First Time Listening to Taylor Swift's Debut Album

Thank you for all the comments and messages letting me know that it's okay to listen to her music that hasn't been re-recorded yet. Now we can move forward and see her evolution through the years. If I would've ran a poll I'm about 90% sure Reputation would've won haha. Miss Americana gave me a nice insight of her career until those eras but nothing was spoiled. It's so cool that she received a full writer's publishing deal at 14. A young prodigy. It's evident all over this album. I hope you enjoy!! 💙

I know that it’s inspired by former neighbors of hers, but in my head, she’s doing a less sad, reverse POV of Tim McGraw’s ‘Don’t Take the Girl’! 😅 Also, Michelle Branch is never a guilty pleasure, she’s a GOAT of the early oughts! Love that you love her! Taylor has a vault track on Fearless that’s SO reminiscent of ‘Goodbye to You’, I can’t wait for you to hear it! Aaand, not to age myself, but debut came out my freshmen year of college and ‘Tim McGraw’ hit me SO deep because of a high school relationship (‘It’s Your Love’, I’m looking at you). And in my angsty moments, I would lay on my dorm room bed and listen to ‘Tied Together With A Smile’ at MAX volume on my Windows 2000 desktop, to the point where my RA would come check on me 😅. Needless to say, I’ve been with her ever since (and she’s gotten me through all the ups and downs of life)! Amazing reaction as always, Danny! We love a man who gets it! 🫶🏼
