This song is about her trials and tribulations with her lupus and bipolar disorder, and wanting to experience her old self/life again. Wolf in latin is "Lupus", so she is using it to reference her battle with Lupus. "I've been running through the jungle, i've been running with the wolves, to get to you". You should watch her documentary (Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me). It documents 10 years of her life, from the beginning of her music career to now and her battle with health issue and her struggle with mental health. In my opinion, It's pretty good. I enjoyed watching it and it made me understand her a little better.
