2025-04-18 05:06:12 +0000 UTCThe song you’re referring to on love happy is “lost one” where he speaks about B on the second, however on Love Happy this is talking about how he have to put in the work to redeem himself after the infidelity that inspired the “Lemonade” and “4:44” albums, they renewed their vows and moved to the west coast hence why he said he had to switch up the weather…Jay is such a clever dude!

2025-04-18 01:45:09 +0000 UTCThe song “Friends” was a checking Kanye because he was upset Jay and Bey didn’t attend his and Kim K’s wedding which we know due to recent event Ye still isn’t over this…but that was during the time B and Jay dealing with their own issues, that’s why Jay said “I ain't goin' to nobody nothin' when me and my wife beefin' I don't care if the house on fire, I'm dyin', nigga, I ain't leavin' Ty-Ty take care of my kids, after he done grievin' If y'all don't understand that, we ain't meant to be friends”…for additional context Emory and Ty Ty are Jay’s closest and best friends from childhood and current business partners.

Case in point the song 713 Jay actually shares how he and Bey first dated and how he had a lot of maturing and growing to do and Bey exposed him to things he never did, like jumping off the top of boats in the Mediterranean as well as jumping the broom aka getting married. This album is a fuck you to haters and conspiracy theorists…but also explains what generational wealth means and why it’s so important to invest in yourself and communities especially for black people. I revisit this album at least once every 3 months cause it’s packed with gems and inspiration to make your own path.
