evermore by Taylor Swift (deluxe album)

Next up on the Taylor Swift Deep Dive is "evermore".

This reaction is almost 3 hours long. So get comfy and I hope you enjoy :)

evermore by Taylor Swift (deluxe album)

Comments

Those quotes are things her grandma said to her. "Never weird such power, you forget to be polite" is really Taylor in a nutshell. There was a clip on TikTok of her walking into a chief's game last year and her security was yelling "stay back" at the photographers who were rushing her and she corrected them "stay back PLEASE". I think her grandma's teachings have a huge influence on how she is as a celebrity.

Holly (Taylor Smith)

At some point I'm hoping you can react to her surprise song mashup of We Were Happy and Happiness, Hamburg night 1. I know you have a lot going on but that was soooo good.

Holly (Taylor Smith)

I'm so sorry for your grandparents, Danny!!! Really. Sending you so much love from Brazil <3 hope you can feel hugged and loved. Love to see your reactions!

Beatriz Cardozo

Taylor released Marjorie in December 2020 and in January 2021 I lost my grandma on my dad’s side, in February 2023 I lost my grandma on my mum’s side and so that song is absolutely brutal for me (especially “I should have asked you questions, I should have asked you how to be”). One piece of advice I would give to anyone who still has grandparents - make voice notes. Ask them to tell you a story from their childhood and record it. Ask them how they met their spouse and record it. Record them telling you they love you. We have so many pictures and handwritten birthday cards but I’d give anything to hear their voices again 💔

Liam Mcfarlane

Thanks Natalie ☺️ Years of attending Tayschool of immaculate music are paying off 🤣

monika

Yes!!!! 👏🏼 Tayducation at its best!!!!

Natalie Shanider

My thoughts exactly

Natalie Shanider

Note on No Body No Crime. The husband killed Este so the protagonist is just executing an eye for an eye and gets away with it.

Natalie Shanider

Thank you so much for this reaction video. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🩵🩵🩵

Natalie Shanider

Beautiful reaction all in all! A note on Right Where You Left Me. She’s not physically stuck in her hometown it’s a metaphor for being mentally stuck in the moment of the break up. For waaaaay too long 💔

Natalie Shanider

You are very welcome 🫶🏻 I am not sure about “powerhouse” haha, but it is my greatest pleasure to talk about this amazing album and I will take any opportunity to do so 🤣 Hope you are enjoying your relistens! Sending you a big hug ❤️

monika

Sir. It took me three tries (3 different days/moods) to get through this reqction. (marjorie-specifically) I appreciate this reaction and your vulnerability during this reaction. Prayers and good vibrations to you and yours. 🕊️

Carlos

Also look up King Midas from the Greek Mythology who could turn anything he touched to gold but later realised how it was a curse more than a gift. The line "Your Midas touch on the Chevy door" in Champagne problems will give you more insight into why the proposal was rejected

Aastha Sharma

Sending you so much love Camille. Thank you for sharing that with me 💙

Daniel Juke

It really is an odd feeling. They both talk about death like it’s coming tomorrow (usually in a funny way because they’re hilarious lol). There’s a lot to unpack, but yeah, the continuing on without them part hurts a lot to think about. Sending you love friend 💙

Daniel Juke

The layers of the onion peel back with each album 💙 I actually agree about that interpretation. Whether she wants to keep the characters fictional or not, there’s most likely some bits of truth in there. Thanks again for being awesome Mon

Daniel Juke

You are a powerhouse!! 🧠 thank you Monika!!! I’ve screenshotted your comment so that I have these breakdowns forever 💙

Daniel Juke

So freaking real!! These situations are everywhere. Happening right now. She writes in this amazing way though that brings the story to life. I didn’t catch that the protagonist had a history of mental illness or remember the town gossiping. I just figured they found clarity lol. I’ll have to listen to that one a few more times. I can only imagine how exhausted she feels at times. She deserves all the rest. Thanks Nikki 💙

Daniel Juke

Hahaha I can’t wait either!! You have a great sense of humor

Daniel Juke

Thank you as well for your insights and feedback here! I keep commenting this but I really am excited to learn about the Gardens of Babylon. Very interested. I felt an overwhelming feeling of clarity these past couple days after listening. It’s a life changing album. Appreciate you 💙

Daniel Juke

I feel completely the same way you do and am actively trying to do something about it. Thank you very much for the kindness :)

Daniel Juke

They’re so freaking cute

Daniel Juke

I do have a great relationship with my grandma, but I also have virtually no relationship with 90+% of my family. I had a similar reaction like this in my Lady Gaga “JOANNE” reaction and that was a song about her aunt. I don’t think a song about a specific person has to be taken that way. For me, it’s the sentiment of it all. She loved this person so much and learned so much from them that they will always be there. I imagine you have to have someone like that in your life right? I just don’t think the garbage people in my life could ever take away from the love that the people willing to be there put in. I’m sorry your grandma acts that way. I have plenty of people in my life like that so I understand how it feels bittersweet to hear me talking about mine. Sending you love 💙

Daniel Juke

I cannot listen to Majorie without crying too. I lost my grandma on my moms side, and she was the light and glue to that side of the family, but when she passed, in all honesty, that’s when the family fell apart and we became estranged to each other. I miss her, I miss the old days, I miss her warm heart.

Jerryy

Oh not at all! I totally understand and I wish I would've left sooner! Hindsight is 20/20, as they say. Doing very well now thank you 🫶🏻

Holly Vickers

This reaction.. this is what an artist like Taylor deserves. I cried with you, a lot. I lost my nanny 4 years ago and same as you I was only close to one set of grandparents. My grandfather is in his final days at a hospice right now, Marjorie hits HARD. Thank you for your vulnerability, in a way it helped me be able to get some grief out❤️‍🩹 Thinking of you and your grandparents. Please remember your health and mental health are a priority too🫶🏻

The Only Larissa🩷🌸🪩

My grandma passed last year, I listened to Majorie for around a month, crying every single night. I and my grandma are not even too close I can say, I lived with her for like ten years but the relationship between her and my mother was so intense, and I know my grandma doesn't like me much in comparison to her other nieces. Still, she is a part of me, its just so hard . God bless you and your grandma!

V Kim

You were vibing out 😂

Talia Adams

😂😂😂😂 I can be really dumb sometimes. I’m getting a good laugh though reading the comments letting me know. That changes the song! It’s so good though. And I thought her grandmas voice was beautiful 💙

Daniel Juke

💙

Daniel Juke

Haha totally get it!!

Daniel Juke

Thank you 💙 and appreciate you clearing that up. Sometimes I take the lyrics too literal lol

Daniel Juke

I was unfortunately too busy dancing like a fool 😂

Daniel Juke

First part = 🤯 Next, I understand exactly what you mean. Sorry if I come off insensitive to those situations at times. I know it’s much more difficult than just exiting a relationship/situation. I hope things are better for you these days 💙

Daniel Juke

It was painful, but also felt really good to get that out. Her grandma was a great singer. I’m glad you had a good night 💙

Daniel Juke

I’m noticing that I sometimes get caught up in taking the lyrics literal haha thank you for clearing that up. I’m very lucky about my grandparents. They definitely let me know how much they care 💙 Thanks!

Daniel Juke

Sending much love 💙

Daniel Juke

She’s not only a prolific songwriter, but also cares deeply about substance. I understand more with each album why she’s a historical superstar. Incredible! Thank you 💙 and lol they’re most likely out there but just minding their business 😂

Daniel Juke

My deepest condolences to you and your family. She really does have a special way of writing lyrics that resonate deeply. Very human. I plan on doing all of those titles you mentioned 💙

Daniel Juke

That atmosphere sounds so comforting!! 💙

Daniel Juke

Thanks Sandy! I’ve been lucky to have a couple great models. Totally agree with that chaplain by the way.

Daniel Juke

Thank you! Makes sense

Daniel Juke

Happy belated birthday!!

Daniel Juke

I will be listening to that :)

Daniel Juke

My grandpa was my favorite person in the world. I lost him a month ago. My birthday was 6 days ago and this is the first year I didn’t get a call from him. We talked every week and I visited with him every weekend for all of my adult life. I’m so glad you have that relationship with your grandma. It’s a beautiful thing. Hold her close to you.

Jennifer Cash

I’m absolutely loving your reactions to Taylor’s music. Never ever apologize for showing emotion and being vulnerable. Her story telling is so incredible. It’s so great how you have been able to pick up on things that most people can’t.

KT

I think he may have been referencing mixers and such. I believe Laura Sisick mixes most of Taylor’s music. She is actually shown on the LPSS. She’s in Taylor’s apartment helping her set up when they record the studio album from their separate locations during the pandemic.

Brandi Smith

She actually for the most part only has 1-5 writers/producers on her tracks!

Nicolle Swanson

https://youtu.be/1-747HPQ1YU?si=WYID_CjYL0iNadox Here it is!!!!! Please watch on your own time, even if you don’t share your reaction! This particular video is with lyrics and Taylor actually does Bon Iver’s verse! The Swifties really want a live album from Era’s and this version of evermore is a large part of the reason why!!

Brandi Smith

Bawled with you during Marjorie🫶 Totally get it. I can say that after to getting to know that little bit about you, I am even more happy to be here🫶 You have got to listen to Taylor sing Evermore solo, as a full surprise song on the Era’s Tour. I love Bon Iver’s verse lyrically, but I don’t care for it sonically, if I’m being honest. Again - beautiful, hard hitting lyricism (probably penned by Miss Swift) - but the production during his entire part takes away more than it lends to the song, imo 🫣🤷🏼‍♀️ Gonna find the video from Era’s for you. It’s soooooooo good!

Brandi Smith

What a beautiful reaction from u..always waiting for u to react to TS and ur reaction with evermore is so good..for my first listen evermore don’t get my love very fast like folklore but once u sit and listen carefully, this album touch ur heart in many different ways and that’s why this album had special place in my heart. Keep doing what ur doing and we swiftie will support u always ❤️

Shafiq

In the Fortnite music video when they are sitting at the type writers and the words are going up and meeting eachother, I think they both wrote songs or parts of songs to eachother, that only eachother would recognize for years.

Holly Vickers

omg bless you and your family, I also don't have a lot of family and my grandpa was my favorite person on earth and marjorie means a lot to me, every time I listen to this song I cherish those moments with him

Ariadna

Dang, I never lined them up like that before, she sure loves(d) the British huh

monika

Her grandma was an Opera singer and is singing at the end of the song “Marjorie”

Tiffany Randolph

In “Cowboy Like Me” they are 2 con artists that go to a “rich person” party to try to swindle the rich. End up meeting each other and falling in love. Not what they intended or expected. “With your boots underneath my bed, forever is the sweetest con” Love that line!

Tiffany Randolph

Also because you get so used to the dagger that taking it out feels like a much bigger risk and more painful, and you know once you take it out there's no going back and you can't bear to close that door just yet.

Aastha Sharma

Danny... thank you so much! It took me two days to get down to watch this reaction finally and boy, was it a pleasure! I looove evermore, Champagne problems and its bridge is just killing me every time and makes me want to wail the words at the top of my lungs. Marjorie is a masterpiece, I cannot describe how hautingly beautiful Marjorie's back vocals sounded in Wembley Stadium with 90k people in attendance. I will allow myself to give some advise on some landmarks in this era - evermore live from the Eras Tour, the bridge there was aaaaaah. Renegade + Alcott + Birch were already recommended as part of the Folkmore. I looove Renegade, such a grrreat song. Also, if I remember correctly. no body no crime was not included in Eras Tour movie, so maybe you can watch some live performance of that.

Evgenia

I suddenly lost my grandma in October 2024. I have lived abroad for the past 7 years and I visited my hometown in August 2024 after years of not being able to. That was the last time I saw her and I regret so much, not calling her enough, not being there enough. Enjoy all the time you have with your grandparents, keep cherishing it the way I know you do 🩵 Marjorie and evermore were two songs I had on repeat during that time. Grief is so strange. Life is strange, but all we can do is love and hope to see them again when the time comes. 🤍

Allie

Amazing reaction.

DreaAnnTW

Yes! Agree! Cincinnati night 1. The best vocal performance I've ever seen, and I'll die on that hill. Everyone stopped singing because she put us all in a trance.

Holly Vickers

"Take this dagger in me and remove it" gets me EVERY time. That's really what it feels like to be in a relationship where you are treated badly, like you're walking around with a dagger in you and can't bring yourself to remove it because you love them.

Holly Vickers

Also for Marjorie- this probably isn't a reaction but you can search on TikTok when they did a fan project on the eras tour and turned on flashlights for Marjorie. Taylor noticed and it was really sweet. (I was just on a grainy livestream holding my flashlight ☺️)

Holly Vickers

I love how vulnerable you're willing to be. I lost my grandmother tragically in January. She's lived with my parents and I my entire life so over 20 years. Her death was traumatic and completely changed my world upside down. She was my best friend so I totally understand where you're coming from Grandma's are just the most special people ever. Marjorie hits so close to home for me now more than ever if it isn't weird for me to ask, give your grandma a hug for me. I would do anything to give her one last hug 🥹🤍

Katelyn

Marjorie always gets me in my feels. I lost my grandmom in 2017. She was my best friend and I miss her everyday so I was crying there right with you. 🥹 I actually saved the last Xmas card she gave me and got her signature tattooed on my arm. I understand your pain going through this time and thank you for being so vulnerable to us I love your reactions and I’m glad I subscribed. I can’t wait to watch your journey through the rest of Taylor’s music. PS. When she mentions The eagles t-shirt in gold rush it’s actually about the Philadelphia eagles since she’s from the area. It was a debate whether or not it was the band or the team for the longest time until she performed the eras tour in Philly and confirmed it was the nfl team. Go birds 🦅

Messica

I'm just on tis the damn season but I take the line "the road not taken looks real good now" as someone she was in a relationship with but she chose to leave and put her career first and the road not taken was staying....kind of reminds me of midnight rain Also I don't like Babylon is a bad thing in cowboy like me I think she is referencing the gardens of Babylon... They were one of the seven wonders of the world and I believe this line is both referencing how they’re romantically involved hanging from my lips implies he’s hers and no one else’s and also once in a lifetime, almost mystical in nature, like the gardens.

Baillie Williams

Yes it’s her home team! When I saw her perform at the stadium where the Eagles play she said how she used to watch it all the time with her dad growing up! She also confirmed that this gold Rush line is about the team! And she was always wearing eagle shirts… this past Super Bowl must’ve been conflicting for her lol good thing she’s in good company with Kylie and Jason haha go birds!🦅🦅

Laurasr618

seconding this, it's maybe one of the best vocal performances of the entire tour

ash212

Based on what you shared during Marjorie I just wanted to warn you about the song Soon You’ll get better on the Lover album. I’d go into that one a bit prepared mentally as it discusses Taylor’s mother being sick with cancer

Madison O

Quite unrelated to Taylor herself but you should definitely listen to Mumford & Sons, they’ve got some incredible music and their new album comes out on Friday too! Some of my favourite songs from them are Delta, Believe, Guiding Light Tompkins square park and so many more. Besides Taylor Swift, they make my favourite music. Definitely my favourite music group that’s for sure!

Mackenzie Brown

The ONE thing that a lifetime NFL fan should’ve got 🤦‍♂️ 😂

Daniel Juke

And she’ll always be there with you all forever. Thanks for sharing that with me. It’s really comforting to hear you & your kids continuing on her memory. I need to look up these references now that you speak of. Gardens of Babylon sounds so interesting haha. I’ve always heard Babylon used in a negative light.

Daniel Juke

Yeah I can’t believe I got that wrong 😂 I think it’s the way she said it. I’m a big fan of Jason Kelce as a football player and person. Same with Travis. Thanks!

Daniel Juke

Sending you all the love, Tal. I thought it was such a beautiful song and the old film on top of it was a perfect touch. You can’t help but be reflective. I think it’s a great thing to have. Thank you for always being so kind 💙

Daniel Juke

😂😂😂😂 I definitely tuned out during NBNC and just jammed. Wild lol. Thank you friend 💙

Daniel Juke

I think that as well

Daniel Juke

Thank you 💙

Daniel Juke

Wow I should’ve known that 😂😂

Daniel Juke

Ahhh!! ☕️

Daniel Juke

😂😂 love it

Daniel Juke

I feel like I’m in a trance when listening to her and reading the lyrics. I have to know what she’s saying haha 😂 I’m trying 😌

Daniel Juke

I didn’t notice the plural of knees!! Wow

Daniel Juke

Makes sense. Thank you 😌

Daniel Juke

Ahh something I need to look into! I’ve always heard the word in a negative light. Thanks

Daniel Juke

I saw someone say once that in tolerate it when she’s going through the list of all the things she could do to “break free” from the relationship and she says “believe me, I could do it” she’s not trying to convince him she’s trying to convince herself and that’s so true

Ruby Logan

So sorry to hear about your struggles with your grandparents, watching those you love suffering is so hard. All we can do is be there for them, and it sounds like you are! Make memories, ask questions, and enjoy your time with them. ❤️

Liz N

Omg goodness. I just watched marjorie. Her grandmother was actually in a section singing backing vocals as Taylor sings I still feel you around... If you've not listened to them yet, you need some content warnings for a few of her songs. RedTV: Ronan - About loss of a child to cancer Lover: Soon You'll get better - about her processing her mom's battle with cancer. There are a few others, but those were the key ones.

Coral

You NEED to see the evermore surprise song! Everyone is so quiet because she is fantastic

Kalex

That’s what I said at the end. It’s about emotional desire. Does it matter that it’s about Matty. No. But she definitely wanted her fans to know that she wrote a lot of these songs about him or she wouldn’t have said that she swirled him into all of her poems and made direct references to so many songs in TTPD. She purposely opened the door to speculation. It seems obvious, but regardless I much prefer the song being about her situationship with Matty, otherwise it’s just a song infidelity which doesn’t really track for Taylor. Like you said they’re based on her core emotions.

Maggie

What a genuine, honest reaction. I appreciate that you aren’t afraid to show your emotions. You had me crying during Marjorie as well! My grandma and mom are my favorite people (besides my husband but those are two completely different categories), and my husband has received orders for us to move to Germany. So we’re going to Germany in a few months and it’s immensely bittersweet because I know my grandma can’t travel due to chronic pain. It’s devastating to think that I may see her only a handful more times in this life. I’m sorry to hear about your grandparents battles, I’ll be thinking of you all and sending my best to them. It’s lovely that they have such a wonderful and involved grandson. On an upbeat note, I can’t wait for you to get into Lover, reputation, and 1989! rep is my all-time favorite so I’m excited to see your reaction. I know you love a good upbeat album so hopefully those deliver for you!

Kat H

You sir, are truly healing our eras tour live stream voids & I think I can speak for all of us swifties when I say, WE LOVE YOU 🥺🫶✨️ Thank you for being such a beautiful soul & sharing your reactions with us ✨️🤍

Lauren

I love how in touch you are with your emotions and how comfortable you are with expressing them!! Your vulnerability is beautiful to see 🫶 I can rarely listen to Marjorie. It was always a tough song but my gran unexpectedly passed in November of 2023 and ever since then it’s rare for me to listen to it. Usually I either skip it or only listen to part of it. My grief is still just too heavy. It’s a beautiful song though and maybe one day I’ll be able to revisit it

LeAnna

What do you mean Tolerate It? is a relatable response. Everything you said for that song is so relatable.

Renee S. Smith

Yeah...he may want to put those off for a while 😞

Kristin Love (repTVgirly)

I don't know that it has to be about a person. Ultimately, it is about Taylor's feelings. And maybe a situation with MH (or just how she was feeling at the time) may have inspired the song but it still comes back to Taylor. Taylor always describes her songs by the emotional core of the song. I think fans should follow suit.

Renee S. Smith

thank you so much for this reaction, you are truly a gorgeous soul🤍marjorie hits me straight in the gut everytime. I was in a similar situation with my grandma June who passed away recently. I just want you to know that although the pain never goes away, it gets smaller and eventually you can look back with fond memories. Look after yourself and i wish you and your family complete health and guidance (for evermore). x

boop

Thanks monika❤️

Isabella Peterson

I am watching your reaction to marjorie right now and I just want you to know that I am so sorry about everything you are going through right now. I am so happy for you though that you get that close relationship with your grandma, thats such a special thing to have. I.....cant really relate to this song. My brother and my sister probably could because the relationship they have with our grandma is really special and important and deep and means something, but...her and I dont really understand eachother i dont think. On most days I dont even think she likes me, so I do not know what my reaction is going to be on the day she eventually leaves us. All of this to say, seeing your reaction is so beautiful to me as much as it is heartbreaking. Seeing people get and have what I never got is bittersweet but mostly it just makes me so happy that you and everyone who gets to feel that love doesn't have to feel the way I do. You get to live with the knowledge after their gone that they loved you like so fucking much, and that is SO important and special. Just remember their love for you and let it consume you and hold you on the days they wont be there to do it for you.

Kayla Brunton

Evermore is such a wonderful album. Most people prefer Folklore, but songs on Evermore just hit differently. So many of my favourite Taylor songs come from Evermore. TTPD really made me deep dive into Taylor’s discovery, but Evermore is the album I return to most often. It’s really difficult to pick my favourite song from Evermore. When I did the ranking, I had, like, 5 number 1 spots 😂 It’s much easier to pick songs that I don’t necessarily vibe with. I always felt ’tis the damn season is a continuation of the teenage love triangle from Folklore - Augustine and James meet again, only this time, Augustine uses James „for a weekend”, and they „can call it even”. I’m not sure if it fits, but it’s just my interpretation. If you enjoyed Folklore and Evermore and Aaron Dressner and want to stay in this Era a bit longer, you should listen to Renegade by Big Red Machine and The Alcott by the National. Aaron is a member of both bands, and Taylor is featured on both songs. I think they’re an essential part of the FolkMore Era.

malb901

Yes! I forgot about that one, and there's probably so many others hidden in there too. It really feels like those references are a continuation of the folklore storytelling but with a more personal twist

Jennifer Harper-Beddow

Ohh Sweet Danny.. everything you felt and said during Majorie was true and relatable. However, you didn’t say one point, so I want to make sure you know it. When that day comes and your grandparents are no longer here, they will not be completely gone (what died didn’t stay dead..) because the goodness in them is the goodness in you. YOU will carry it on, and most importantly pass it on. You are already such an empathetic and wise man at your young age. You have a lifetime ahead of you of being that person for your kids, their friends, your grandkids, and so on. You will feel your grandparents all around and one day someone else will be missing you, but they’ll also be passing your goodness on. I hope this brings your comfort in the coming years. -Enjoy your visits with your grandparents. 🫶🫶

TiffK83

alright i am at your ivy reaction and I just wanted to tell you about a very popular theory surrounding it. a lot of people think that it is actually about the 19th century famous poet emily dickenson and her forbidden love for her best friend susan gilbert, who married emilys brother, thus becoming her sister in law. Taylor even allowed this song to be played in the show "dickenson" i believe, over a romantic scene between emily and sue. :)

Kayla Brunton

The way I thought of Matty as I read your description lol

Shaunna Elizabeth

As someone who was cheated on for two years and had friends at the time that knew, please continue to tell your friends if you find out they're being cheated on. I would have wanted to know. Let them make their own mistakes afterwards.

Shaunna Elizabeth

There's also Rebecca by Daphne Du Marier for Tolerate It according to Taylor

Aastha Sharma

and also thank you sooo much for showing your emotions, it's so refreshing and Taylor is just one of those artists that deeply touches and moves you ❤️

armyswiftie💜

Sending you lots of love Isabella ❤️

monika

"The Alcott" by The National feat. Taylor and "Renegade" by Big Red Machine (side-project by Aaron Dessner and Bon Iver) feat. Taylor also tie in perfectly with evermore and I believe Taylor had a very big hand in the writing process. And they are both devastatingly beautiful sad songs. It would be great if you could include them somewhere along the way!!

armyswiftie💜

There's a couple of literature references (as far as I've seen it anyway) in these songs. Someone already mentioned Emily Dickinson re Ivy but... Happiness has a couple of Great Gatsby references like 'Beautiful Fool' and 'the Green Light' so I don't know if it was necessary about that book but I wonder if it inspired her Right Where You Left Me always makes me think of Miss Haversham from Great Expectations, as a woman who is frozen in time after being abandoned by her lover, especially 'Dust collected on my pinned up hair'

Jennifer Harper-Beddow

❤️

Tal

That's American Healthcare for you. $16k per treatment! As a Canadian, we are lucky up here where we can go to the hospital and not worry about the cost. I wish Americans will wake up to universal health care. I hope you do.

Richard

Wow wow wow Juke😭 im crying right now. I loved this entire reaction and i know you will get extra context for some songs but i have to touch on your marjorie reaction. You were getting so personal so i’d like to share and maybe it can also help you since your grandma is sick❤️ I grew up living 2 minutes from my own maternal grandmother and grandfather and i’ve always been extremely close to both of them but especially my grandma. She obly worked 70% when i was young so she picked me up from school everyday until my mom got home. When this song came out it touched me so much because my grandparents had very bad covid and was both hospitalized for 2 weeks. They both survived and i was so happy for that. Unfortunately my grandma got weaker and weaker after that. In 2022 we found out that she had ALS and that the covid likely worsened her quickly and she was given 2-6 months tops to live. There is a pill to slow things down but since she was already so far along she would most likely just be given a extra month with it so my grandma didn’t want to take it, so we let her choose. She passed in septemer 2022 and the last month she could barely move or speak or eat. We have great healthcare for free in sweden (im so sorry for americans without insurance because 16k is sickening) and she got a lot of help at home since she didn’t want to die in the hospital. But i was staying at their house for the last month (we also get free paid time off here if a close relative is terminal) alongside my mom and aunt. It was a horrible sight seeing my once so lively grandma barely being able to drink water without our help. I was perpared for her passing but it doesn’t help. The night she died still hit me like a brick seeing her take her last breath. But i also would never want her suffering to continue so i was at the same time happy she was at peace. It is hard seeing them go but just remember to tell them what they mean to you and like taylor sung about i still feel her around. Her wisdom is with me and i know when the time comes your grandparents will stay with you in spirit ❤️ My grandpa hasn’t been the same since she died either. They got married at 18/19 and was together for 60 years. He is getting old quick now and im trying to cherish him while i can. He lives for his kids and grandkids right now so we’re showing that love back while we can. Marjorie is always a hard one for me because of this but at the same tine it heals me in a way, and i hope it can for you too! Thank you for your openess and sending you much love🫶🏻

Isabella Peterson

Also in order Taylor's British boyfriends: Harry Styles, situationship Matty Heally not sure, Calvin Harris, Tom Hiddelston, Joe Alwyn, Matty Heally. Hope that helps :)

Ilka van Schalkwyk

I think Evermore resonates strongly with people who have really been through it, that's myself included. This reaction made me sad that we don't know each other and live so far apart cause I think we can have some really important conversations of the things we've been through. I'm sending you love and strength during this time with your grandparents.

Ilka van Schalkwyk

oh man, after seeing your marjorie reaction i dont know if you’re ready for Ronan and Soon You’ll Get Better 🥹

Ameer Rohaizat

I love that you saved the whole album! It's my favorite.

Julieta Isaza

I agree on everything you said about ivy!

monika

Taylor’s grandmother was actually an opera singer. In Marjorie you can hear her singing when Taylor says “I can hear you singing to me now,” and also again at the end of the song. I think in Right Where You Left Me Taylor is saying that the person is stuck in their head at the moment when the other person broke up with them. She’s still stuck on them and the fantasy of being with them and she is unable to move on emotionally in her life. I don’t think it represents a physical place. My personal interpretation of Ivy. I think she is signing about the ghost of a past relationship (the old lady goes to the stone, graveyard, but she sits grieving for the living, the past relationship. And his opal eyes are all I wish to see, again sounds like a ghost), that has remerged and is invading her dreams and threatening her very stable relationship (Ivy growing on her house of stone). She is having an emotional affair and is questioning if she should leave her “husband,” to be with the person she desires and perhaps thinks is her soulmate (meeting them where the spirit meets the bone in a faith forgotten land). I hate to say it, this is a Matty Healy song and it’s similar to Guilty as Sin, but more about emotional desire instead of physical desire.

Maggie

I agree, I really don't like public proposals. I feel like there is an aspect of them that have been used to make people feel pressured to say yes because they don't want to embarrass the person asking or ruin the moment.

Holly Vickers

Dorothea is the opposite person's perspective of Tis the damn season.

Richard

I think Champagne Problems is powerful. You analyzed it so well. You feel bad for the guy who was rejected, but you also understand and have empathy for the woman's POV...of saying "no" when she KNOWS it's not right for her/time for her. But the sad thing is by her saying no was the kinder and braver thing rather than saying yes and not being ready for WHATEVER reason...but the outsiders looking in just will trash her for rejecting the proposal... She must be crazy, fucked in the head...but really, she just knew her own heart and mind. Public proposals are NEVER a good idea unless you KNOW what the answer is...it sounds like this was a surprise to her. Makes you wonder if they had ever even talked about a future together. If not, he blindsided her and the "no" shouldn't be 100% a surprise. Just my two cents on this. 😊

Shanna

Never clicked so fast ! Your reaction to Marjorie was so pure. I lost my mom to cancer 2 years ago and she was my everything. I can’t listen to this song since because it gets me in a dark place, but I listened and cried with you this time. Thank you for being you ❤️

Camille

Great reaction as always. I cried with you during Marjorie ❤️ My Nan is 81, lives with me and I cherish everyday with her, but this song always hits me so hard. Even tho they are here, it’s just a haunting feeling to know that losing them will absolutely shatter us.. and that we’ll have to continue on without them 😭

Madi

forgot a few things 🤣 ➡️ tolerate it was at first just a fictional song for me, but now with hindsight of TTPD and more importantly taking into consideration she put it as a track 5, I would assume it is her personal story of how she was feeling in her relationship with Joe towards the end of it. ➡️ I think ivy is her personal story, talking about Matty Healy creeping in and growing roots in her dreamland (i.e. thoughts, dreams) while she was still with Joe. In my opinion, ivy is a clean version of the more explicit Guilty as Sin? off TTPD 🤣 We Swifties say we understand each individual album more with the next one she puts out, and TTPD made me rethink many songs from folklore & evermore and the fact they may not be as fictional as she wanted us to believe at first. But of course, all songs are open to our own interpretation.

monika

Long post incoming... Firstly: Thank you Juke. Just thank you. ❤️ For all the hard work you are putting into really understanding the artist, for this amazing reaction, for being so real and getting so vulnerable with us which is not an easy thing to do I am sure... I am so so sorry to hear about your grandparents and wish I could have hugged you during Marjorie. I am sending you lots of love and strength ❤️ I am so glad you enjoyed the album, I was kicking my feet watching you save the entire thing 🥳 It is my favorite Taylor album, so please don't mind me leaving some comments and my understandings of the songs below. I would recommend reading the prologue if you haven't done so after filming, coz it helps clear up a few things as well. ➡️ I think the songs 'tis the damn season and Dorothea are connected and are telling the same story from a different point of view (Taylor says in the prologue: "Dorothea, the girl who left her small town to chase down Hollywood dreams - and what happens when she comes back for the holidays and rediscovers an old flame.")
➡️ Man, I was cracking up seeing you dancing while Este got murdered first by her cheating husband in no body no crime 🤣 but you probably caught that on your second listen 🤣 ➡️ Coney Island is FILLED with Taylore and details about quite a few of her past relationships and what went wrong there, all vowen into this beautiful sad song. It touches on her relationships with Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Calvin Harris and maybe more that went over my head. (For more about the lore, genius.com does quite good job explaining this one, but you will also find out details about them on other albums) ➡️ Cowboy like me is about two “con artists” always playing other people, but end up falling in love with each other, “forever is the sweetest con” (fun fact, Travis said in one of his interviews it is one of his favourite songs and she sung it a few times on tour while he was in attendance ❤️).. Also, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon were considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. ➡️ Long story short is about a difficult period in her life when she basically got cancelled by the world because of Kanye and Kim. It was the period when she met Joe and wrote Reputation, but you will find out about that later when diving into Rep. The lyric “Past me, I wanna tell you not to get lost in these petty things, your nemeses will defeat themselves before you get the chance to swing” gives me goosebumps every time. ➡️ As you will also find out in the Apple interview, her grandma sings with her on the track Marjorie, as Aaron included her vocals from some of her old vinyl towards the end of the song, which makes the song even more special. Marjorie was an opera singer, and now we got to hear her voice in sold out stadiums during the Eras Tour. ➡️ Right where you left me is not necessarily about being stuck in your hometown, but being unable to move on from someone who broke up with you, even years later. This song kinda pictures the before, during and after the breakup, triple the devastation. ➡️ it’s time to go is a great album closer with a verse actually touching on the situation with her masters again:
“Fifteen years, fifteen million tears Begging 'til my knees bled I gave it my all, he gave me nothin' at all Then wondered why I left Now he sits on his throne in his palace of bones Praying to his greed He's got my past frozen behind glass But I've got me” The line “he’s got my past frozen behind glass, but I’ve got me” always gives me chills. Congrats if you read my comment until here 🤣 can’t wait for the evermore era to continue with the Apple interview with Zane Lowe (Taylor Swift’s Songwriting Process on ‘evermore’ | Apple Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQacWbsLbS4 ) and live performances. 🤎 Thank you again, Juke!

monika

I used to hate the slow Taylor albums but the eras tour made me love it. I cried a bit watching this video ahah. I once had a big fight with my bf and ended up crying to « happiness » How dramatic Also, loved that you brought out Dexter because I just finished binge watching the show and spin off! Can’t wait for resurrection 😅

Alicia

Loved this reaction Danny, thank you so much! With champagne problems, I think this genius summary with quotes from Taylor sums it up perfectly "“champagne problems” tells the story of a woman who shocks her would-be fiancé and their loved ones by turning down a marriage proposal right before Christmas. In an essay about evermore, Swift stated that the song depicts “longtime college sweethearts [who] had very different plans for the same night, one to end it and one who brought a ring.” The song implies that the protagonist has a history of mental illness, which the town subsequently stigmatizes in their gossip surrounding the failed proposal. Mental health is a topic especially personal to Swift, who has been transparent publicly about her own struggles. As quoted in an interview with the Zach Sang show: I definitely don’t feel good all the time, and I don’t think anybody does…there have been times where I needed to take years off because I just felt exhausted, or I felt, like, really low or really bad."

Nikki M

Hanging Gardens of Babylon were considered one the seven wonders of the world and were known to be an architectural marvel with an ascending series of tiered gardens. But their existence has not been proven because their location has never been determined. The song is essentially about two swindlers conning rich people but they fall in love. Hence the line "you hang from my lips like the garden of babylon" doesn't really tell us if this was real or was it a con too. Evermore is such a therapeutic album and the delux songs give you a choice whether you want to stay in your hurt or decide it's time to go. Thank you Juke for being so vulnerable and open and sharing your personal feelings with us.

Aastha Sharma

Thanks so much for being so open and sincere, its so hard to find empathetic, kind, generous people out in the world lately so I just wanted to say that I really appreciate that about you! I'm so glad you loved evermore! Sobbing on this album is so relatable lol. I love your reactions, you always pick up on things others don't.

broccolit0

Cowboy Like Me is about 2 con artists who just use and manipulate people to get what they want from them and then they move on. Except this time they con each other and fall in love. Travis has said that this is one of his favorite songs and Taylor sang it 3 times when he was in attendance at her shows. It has special meaning to them for sure.

Stacey

Also, in Right Where You Left Me I don’t think the “i’m still at the restaurant” line is about staying in her hometown or any place in particular. It’s more about her being stuck in that period of life when she was 23.

Eva Warwick

I just got to your no body no crime reaction, and I would just like clarify for you that the first verse is talking about how este is getting cheated on, but the second verse is talking about how then the husband killed este and moved in with his mistress so then in the third verse taylor is taking her revenge and killing the husband for killing este. loving your reactions so far! :)

Kayla Brunton

Almost missing the entire murder plot of no body no crime due to dancing is hilarious! (Did miss it was actually a double homicide cuz the husband killed Este and then Taylor gets revenge and kills the husband). Also, your reaction to Marjorie was quite special. Something else really special about Marjorie is that her grandmother was actually an opera singer and they found some of her vocals and added them into the background which you can hear towards the end. Marjorie is credited as a background vocalist on the song.

Talia Adams

Gaaah your reaction to Champagne Problems is so real! That song gets me every single time. I think it’s one of her best.

Kristin Hope

Also I don't know if anybody said it yet but I think Tis the Damn Season is from Dorothea's perspective. The baby sister to Midnight Rain if you know what I mean lol by "the road not taken" I think she means she got off that road, not that she never was on it. Meaning they dated when she lived there then she moved away to chase her dreams, or at least that's my interpretation 😊

Holly Vickers

This was such a delightful take from beginning to end. I tear up at Marjorie too—especially when her grandmother sings in the background. Hoping it’s Miss Americana next!

Susan

Love love love these Taylor and Gaga reactions ❤️

Jesse Nemick

This is why I love Taylor. Her songs are so personal and we’ve all been in these same situations. There is a Taylor song for everyone! For me there are about 274 of them, I just love them all!

Stacey

Great reaction to the album!! You are such a kind, gentle spirit. 🕊️ Re: Marjorie. Thoughts and prayers for your grandparents. Hearing Marjorie’s operatic aria at the end always makes me cry. Re: Right Where You Left Me. It’s more about how some pain forms a perfect memory it’s hard to move beyond it. The loss holds you captive within that moment in your mind where you cannot imagine life without that person who moved on.

Jacqueline Goon

Also you may not have picked up on it in the second verse of No Body, No Crime but Este went missing after confronting her husband about the cheating (the lyrics imply that he killed her) so that’s why Taylor ended up killing the husband.

Eva Warwick

There's a popular theory that Ivy is about Emily Dickinson, that she and her sister-in-law Sue Dickinson were in love. They found hundreds of love letters exchanged by them that were talking about kissing, yearning for eachother, etc, one includes a poem from Emily that ended with the words "forevermore". The theory is that the song is from Sue's perspective, incorporating themes of death and spirits, as Emily's poetry did. So this was before women were allowed to divorce. When she say's "my dreamland" I don't think she's saying her marriage to her husband is happy, I think she's being sarcastic, like this is what women are supposed to dream about, but it's not a dreamland for her. I imagine Taylor also chose the word dreamland because it invokes "Barbie's dreamland", like the perfect picket fence life that can be fake or often is not as fulfilling in reality as it looks, it's plastic/not deep. But also "dreamland" could have a double meaning that she was dreaming of her. Taylor is also a big fan of Emily Dickinson's poetry and after TTPD we found out she was feeling this way too. Anyways long story long it was the wrong guy haha but loved this reaction so much, you are amazing! This song also hits home for me, I never cheated but I was in a very verbally abuse marriage for 10 years where he just treated me like crap all the time and if someone would even be the slightest bit nice to me it would just affect me so much causing me to fantasize and dream about what it would be like to be treated like that all the time. It's hard to explain but even just those thoughts about being with a nice person who loved me really got me through. I should've just left as you say but it was scary and a lot of family pressure and anyways just a lot at play. But I relate to the lyrics because of that.

Holly Vickers

Not me sitting in my living room crying with you over Marjorie 😭 On another note, I’d love to see you do 1989 next. Such a complete 180 from these eras and dives into the pop icon / peak pop sound and crazy production. Might be a nice refresh!

Ali Fauteux

What a lovely evening I had spending it with you and one of my favorite TS albums! Almost all of these songs have made me cry at least one time. Marjorie, of course, is a heart-breaker no matter what, but for those of us who have had the undeniable gift of a loving and caring grandmother, it's both beautiful and painful. It's nice to cry sometimes and have a bit of a release. I had a little cry myself tonight too. Taylor's music is perfect for that. Thanks again for a lovely chat, beautiful music and a good cry!

Karin Rommel

There is an Eras Tour video where they act out the "Tolerate It" song. That would be a great video to react to!!!

Cynthia Long

Same!!!

Anj Robinson

This was the best Monday I have had in a long time….thank you!!!! I have so much I want to say, but first and most importantly, I just want to give you the biggest hug…your Marjorie reaction was heartbreaking. Thank you for sharing your incredible relationship with your grandparents, man they must be so damn proud of you and what a wonderful young man you are. I hope my daughters meet someone just like you ❤️ Because 🎶Right Where You Left Me 🎶is my favourite song…and I swear she wrote that for me (I’ve been at the restaurant for 12 years 🥴)…i just think you missed the meaning. The restaurant/hometown…It was metaphorical…she is stuck and can’t move on because she was so in love and just can’t let herself let go…she’s frozen and hoping he’ll come back 💔 Amazing reaction, this album is so special…such an incredible collection of beautiful songwriting. Love how much you appreciated it 🫶🏻

Anj Robinson

I think in the very last song where she has the verse about 15 years and millions of tears she’s talking about Scott Borchetta and her masters and how she decided to go instead of taking the crappy extortion he was offering

Susan

One more thing (lol) Taylor’s grandmother Marjorie was a semi-famous opera singer. That’s why the newspaper article said “She’s a star in Puerto Rico.” The reason this is important is because in the song it’s Marjorie’s singing voice towards the end. Taylor is singing with her. ❤️ That’s why Marjorie is credited in the song. It’s also why Taylor wrote Marjorie left all her backlogged dreams to her (since she was also a performer). Marjorie died when Taylor was 13 so she sadly didn’t get to see what amazingly happened to her granddaughter.

Michelle A

Your Marjorie reaction was very touching, I teared up as well. After having lost my grandparents within a year about 7 years ago, I can definitely relate. Now having lost a close aunt suddenly to cancer (within a month) last Nov, this song means much more, especially when we went to Eras the day after the news. We were balling our eyes out. Much love 🩵🫶🏽

Wil M

I know Travis has said Andy teases that Andy has known Taylor since she was a little girl and that Travis has only known her a couple of years (since Andy coached the Eagles)

Susan

This is why Taylor’s writing is so special, it makes us feel and makes us connect as humans (as good art should). All of those haters that say she only writes bubblegum breakup songs have no idea what they’re speaking of. I think the only thing I’d suggest to finish the folklore/evermore eras is her Grammy mash-up she did! I can’t wait (at your own pace) for you to get into Lover, Reputation, and 1989. And Red, Speak Now, Fearless, and her debut album! 😂 And the eras tour! And Miss Americana. And her tiny desk concert as well as the Grammy museum performances (okay I’ll stop now 🤦🏼‍♀️). I love them all and they’re all so special. We’ll be here for your Taylor journey, and I hope her art brings you joy.

Michelle A

Your reaction during Marjorie is the very thing that’s hard to explain to non-swifties because we all have a moment like that and song of hers that we hear that makes us lifer fans. We all hear a specific Taylor song when we need it the most and that’s what makes us loyal to her. I’m very sorry to hear about your grandparents. Thank you for showing your vulnerability. I wish there were more guys out there like you for us single ladies haha!

Emma Wakefield

YOUR FACE when "your mom's ring in your pocket" PRICELESS ✨🤣

Kristin Love (repTVgirly)

Finally finished the entire video, the whole reaction was wonderful to listen to. Thank you for being vulnerable in sharing your feelings about your grandparents, as someone who lost my dad this year it meant a lot that you let us learn more about you.

Michelle A

Kids and hubby in bed, fairy lights on in the living room, an ice cold amber boch beer and a bag of popcorn ready to enjoy evermore with you 🫶🫶🫶 Thank you Danny!

Kristin Love (repTVgirly)

I just finished your entire reaction! Your reaction was fantastic and this is probably one of my favorite albums ever. Your family must be fantastic because your values are outstanding. I was once told by a chaplain that if our kids know how to love than we learned the greatest lesson of all. You definitely have learned that. Thank you!

Sandy Bourdeau

You should check out The National feat. Taylor Swift - The Alcott. I think you would very much appreciate that song.

Ivy

Champagne problems is a phrase that is about people who have more money’s problems being more trivial than someone who does not have as much money. I’ve always thought of it as another way of saying “First world problems”

Amanda Arford

Subscribed just in time for Evermore! And it’s posted a day after my birthday? Feels like a birthday present to meee

Amanda

okay slay, a new evermore stan means it’s a great day! 🫶 so relate to your reaction to marjorie, i almost never listen to it because of how sad it makes me. absolutely bawled my eyes out when i heard it live at eras 🤣 you should totally checkout the national song that taylor features on called “the alcott” —- it’s beautiful!

kelsie

Thanks for uploading!

Katelyn

lol by eagles she meant the football team haha

Katelyn

I love Evermore! Definitely in my top two Taylor albums. My grandmother was also the person I was closest with. She was the only decent person in my family, and she was incredible. So funny, social and kind. People just gravitated towards her. I was her part time caregiver her last year with us. It took a year or so to get over the shock of losing her, but I always feel like she is with me. She died 10 years ago and my oldest child just turned 9. They never got to meet her but they talk about her as if they knew her. That’s how far that love can spread. With everything she taught me she’s apart of me and now I’ve been able to pass that on to my children. Go back and listen to No Body, No Crime. The husband kills Este in the second verse. So of course Taylor had to murder him. 😄 And Gardens of Babylon, in Cowboy Like Me, are referring to one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. So in this instance it’s a positive reference. The person that people think this song is about is also in the music industry, so they’re both hustling for the good life by being a made up version of themselves but end up finding real connection with each other.

Maggie

Just fyi the Eagles t-shirt she is talking about in Gold Rush is the Philadelphia Eagles not the band (she clarified that when she played Gold Rush as a surprise song during the eras tour show in Philly). She grew up near Reading PA so her dad was a big Eagles fan. Funny enough she ended up with a man whose brother played on the Eagles.

Eva Warwick

Totally agree...there actually used to be an old saying if someone had a situation that seemed a little too good...we used to say, "well, she paints a good picture".

Karin Rommel

As other people say, don't apologize for showing your emotions. Thank you for feeling comfortable enough sharing this with us. It's not obvious! Sending you the biggest hug. This album was released two months after my mom passed away and it's actually made me love Marjorie so much because it makes me think of my mom. Marjorie and other Taylor song called "Soon You'll Get Better" from the Lover album are dear to my heart. Soon you'll get better is about Taylor's mom battle with cancer and again at the time of release (2019) was exactly the time my mom battled the same type of cancer Taylor's mom had. So I can't thank Taylor enough for sharing this with us.. It's heartbreaking but I truly love these 2 songs so much. Love you Danny ❤️

Tal

Danny, I'm just gonna give you a virtual hug, since Patreon hasn't figured out how to hug through screens lol. This was lovely, and I'll continue to applaud you for letting your emotions out so publicly. I can see you getting more and more comfortable with vulnerability with each video, and it's beautiful to witness! Sidenote: It was the MOST hilarious thing to watch you joyfully dancing to "No Body, No Crime", where Taylor is telling a fictional story about how her best friend was cheated on and murdered by her husband, leading Taylor to revenge kill him and frame his mistress. 😂 It's like you were twerking to an episode of Dateline lmao! evermore and Reputation are my two favorite albums of hers. It felt like you really sat back for this one and let the music/storytelling take the wheel, which is exactly how I think folklore and evermore are meant to be listened to. ❤❤❤

Dennis Roberts

40:32 ... my take is, she uses her best colors as she describes him to her friends and family, she paints this beautiful picture of this fantastic man even though he isn't as she describes

Bruce Brown

Never apologize for showing your love and your emotions. I cried watching this video at the same time as you did with Marjorie. I knew that song will break you. Big hug for you from Chile. 🇨🇱

Valeria Saavedra

VIVID memories on release night of realizing that taylor wrote her own goodbye earl

ash212

Gold Rush - The Eagles T-shirt is actually the football team… No Body No Crime - common to miss, but the husband killed Este, thus Taylor unalived him for doing so.

Cooler Fan

And Tolerate It. Taylor’s stunning in that performance in the Eras tour.

Michelle A

if you’re enjoying haim, they have a song called “gasoline” that features taylor and it’s been on repeat for me lately!!

madison

So in Gold Rush she is actually talking about the NFL Eagles Team. She has historically been an eagles fan. Her Dad actually knew Andy Reid from when he coached the Eagles although I don’t completely know the lore on that one.

Jordan

Gold Rush - When she talks about any Gold, it was about Joe. So when she says "I don't like a Gold Rush" she doesn't like that so many other people rush to him or want him. (At least when they were together)

Taylor Mitcham

Wait until you see how beautifully she sings Champagne Problems in the Eras tour. Fans adopted that moment in the show to give her a standing ovation every night.

Michelle A

Your face when you get to the line "Your mom's ring in your pocket" was all of us LOL

Taylor Mitcham

Ok I’m slightly ashamed of the little shimmy I did when I saw this was posted. I have been so excited all day for this.

Jordan

i’ve only gotten to champagne problems and just wanted to say i appreciate your breakdowns so much, you pay such good attention and catch so many things that most first time reactors miss! the fact that you immediately realized it was a proposal rejection and just appreciate her pen so much means a lot to us swifties! 😊

madison

I’M SOOO EXCITED - THIS IS THE MAIN EVENT!

Michelle A

"champagne problems" is also a phrase used to basically say the problems are small in comparison to others, that they don't matter and aren't genuine, basically belittling them. but since it's in her pov, she's doing it to herself. she's got a partner who wants to propose, a group of friends, future supportive in-laws, and yet, she doesn't want it, but she doesn't know why also, "'til someone's on their knees and asks you" - going from a proposal (one knee) to begging (two knees)

ash212

"Life is a willow, and it bends right to your wind," to me means that you have to compromise in a relationship.

Cynthia Long

Yay!!!!

Cynthia Long

yes

Lúcia Helena F. Quintella

Been waiting all day! Ready for some Evermore bliss! Let's Go!! Edit: uh oh. No Lyric Videos again? Edit2: Ah, ok. At least Marjorie got one👏 Danny, you should re-listen to No Body, No Crime. I think you missed some plot details. Husband "disappears" wife for his mistress, then Taylor disappears him. Edit 3: My take on Cowboy Like Me is a story of 2 grifters falling in love, complicated by their schemes. Gardens of Babylon are the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, an ancient wonder of the world. Not a bad metaphor.

Tinwhistle

We miss gaga reactions 🥰🥹
