Reputation was the reaction to it and when the world found out Taylor hadn't been lying they just let it slide as if nothing happened. So she wrote Cassandra, which is on the Anthology. You're going to have so much fun. I'm a bit worried that the Red vault tracks might destroy you but, you'll love it either way. :)

2025-03-18 20:56:07 +0000 UTCI’m sure someone else has mentioned it but the her stopping singing to get fans help really ramped up after the Rio De Janerio November 2023 shows where a fan died of heat exhaustion 😞 After that Taylor seemed to decide that she wasn’t just going to trust that the venues were going to keep her fans safe. Pretty much every show after that she stopped at least once to get people help and even throwing people her personal stage waters. It’s really sad to me that she spent every night giving tens of thousands of people everything of herself and she couldn’t even trust that other people were going to keep everyone safe. The fan dying really seemed to hit her hard, she played “bigger than the whole sky” for her the following show and it was the most heartbreaking performance 😭

I thought she was just showing love to the employees there until I realized she said she wouldn't continue until they're okay. Made me think about Travis Scott and how he just kept going. I know it's a huge responsibility to bear on the artists, but this is just another testament to Taylor's wonderful character :)

We still don't know the meaning of it or why Cardiff is special to her but there was only one tour date in Cardiff, June 18th, 2024, I think the only city that only had one date. Almost like she squeezed it in, idk.

There are some amazing acoustic performances of single songs that I’d love to see ur reaction to once the time comes (evermore, safe and sound from red ft the crowd, stay beautiful and the outside from debut, really anything from debut since the difference between her adult and teenage vocals is insaneee)!

All of which is underlining themes on TTPD and the Anthology, actually Red has some references as well (The Manuscript). As I mentioned the more lore the better. love your reactions so so much!

2025-03-16 20:39:17 +0000 UTCThe thing about the mashups during surprise songs/acoustic set is that to those who don't know her catalogue super well it literally sounds like 1 song because that's how well she blends them. "I hate it here... so take me to the lakes!" Most people wouldn't know those are two separate songs. Not only was it fun as fans to be surprised it was also just so impressive to see how her mind works with mashing up the songs that either have similar themes sonically or lyrically. So fun!

The day of the Rio show where a fan passed, the heat index reached 138 degrees and she was still having to go on and perform so they stopped the show multiple times to hand out water. In another extreme weather event they waited 3 hours for a massive rain storm to slow down and they performed well past midnight to make sure they got to see the show still. Its really good. But you can do it after evermore too if you want more taylor sooner than later 😉 Taylors interactions with her fans are amazing and she really does notice people in her crowds which is so great. The venue caught a lot of flack because access to water was limited even though the weather was extreme. I can't even watch the videos of her performing from that night because she's struggling to breathe. After that show she has been even more vigilant, throwing water to fans, getting securities attention, etc.
