Dark yet encouraging Loki was a hard balance to write about, but I think I did it! Also sometimes getting to be a more evil Loki is a lot of dun lol. So this is a manipulative Loki, but in the sense that he is inciting mayhem and chaos as a trickster god more than anything. He really does want to see the listener succeed, but he’s careless about his encouragement, because he doesn’t see the lives of other humans as worthy, but he considers the listener worthy, because of course how can someone who he’s involved with not be worthy, if that makes sense. He’s just stirring the pot, being the ‘devil on the shoulder’ as it were. Needless to say maybe not follow this advice to a 'T' lol. Also the setting in this is ambiguous, but my thought it that they're at a party or something and Loki just appears, and they're having this conversation while standing/dancing together, so maybe listen with your favorite Dark Academia playlist at the same time?? Who knows lol. I hope you all enjoy!

Hello, my dear.....it's been quite some time.....hasn't it?

I apologize for my extended disappearance.....as well as my unannounced return.......it was all quite......out of my hands.....

But I have returned.....and I did not forget about you in my absence......

I wasn't joking, by the way......you do look good.......it pleases me to know that your resilient nature hasn't changed.........

*long pause*

Resilience in the face of adversity is nothing to scoff at, My Dear.....

But I understand the sentiment of not wanting to have to be resilient to succeed or even exist in this world.

You're doing it, regardless of whether or not you want to, and to me....that is commendable.....if my opinion holds any weight on such matters to you.......

You and I are quite the same in some respects.......

On the outside we may be beautiful, may seem rather innocuous all things considered, nothing more than a nuisance to be swept away at the earliest convenience........

*lowly* But on the inside, there is someone just waiting to be prodded........waiting for something to try to consume us.....so that we may have the pleasure of poisoning it from the inside out......and live to tell the tale......live to show others just how resilient and deadly we really are......they will be hard pressed to be rid of those such as we........

*pause*

*chuckles* No point in being humble, My Dear....... I do have eyes after all......

*lowly* And do you know what I see?

Someone who deserves more than what they have......someone.....who if given even the slightest opportunity......could actually do something, change things, instead of sitting around watching pompous holier than thou imbeciles spew pointless dreck from their mouths and do nothing!

If you're going to live in a world where those who deem themselves above you will do anything to chew you up and spit you back out to maintain the status quo, I would suggest making them regret they ever attempted it.

Spite is a wonderful motivator, My Dear. Are you really going to let those who treat you lesser than the dirt under your feet continue on in such a manner? Are you going to let them outlive you?

They are not better than you.....despite what society might say........

There are times to be resilient.....there are times to be ruthless.......in the quest for fulfillment.....and peace.......

One day, you will not have to spit and scream or quietly seethe in silence against who think of you as nothing more than labor, or cannon fodder for their own gain.

One day, you will be victorious, and everyone will know that while you may look beautiful, while you may seem ripe for the picking and incapable of standing up for yourself, that you are a force to be reckoned with, that you are poisonous to those who would take advantage of you, no one will be able to hurt you without your permission again.......

Oh I can see it My Dear.....I can feel it.....I know the simmering rage of being treated as lesser......and I know how liberating it feels to take matters into your own hands.

Do not let those who oppress you outlive you.......do not give them the satisfaction........

If that's not an inspiration to succeed and to live.....then I don't know what is......

Help you harness the wonderful power that is spite.......help you become that much more powerful and dangerous......so that one day you may leave all the venom behind......and you won't have to be resilient anymore........
