I just watched your reaction to Sabrina's Lollapalooza concert and I think you said there that you haven't listened to her "emails i can't send" album yet. However, I see this. Did you mean to do a revisit of this album perhaps? Anyway, this is my favorite Sabrina album. 😍

2025-08-22 20:31:36 +0000 UTCi think she rly started becoming mega famous bc of feather when it was released from this album, espresso from short and sweet, and the fact that in the midst of all that she opened for taylor on the eras tour. now, for me, ive loved her since i was littleeee watching girl meets world 😅 every album she’s put out has bangers on em but emails i can’t send is def my favorite, every song on it is just an absolute masterpiece. skinny dipping, already over, tornado warnings, & opposite are my favorites :D it’s absolutely crazy tho the difference in tours between emails and short and sweet. like i paid 20$ for my ticket to emails and it was just in a standing room only venue so i was hella close to her. & than just a couple years later i gotta pay like almost 400$ to see her from farther away 😭 it’s absolutely wild 🥲😅

I started to catch on at the end of the song but wasn't completely sure if it was about her dad or just that line the end that mentioned her mom but thanks for letting me know. lol great line with the forks, I was close! Great taste

I’m so big on doing things exactly as the artist intends, out of respect. It seems like you missed it, but in the song “emails i can’t send”, she was actually talking to her father about how him cheating on her mother affected her. A fantastic way to set the tone for the album. Sabrina/Olivia/Joshua was a HUGE scandal lmao. It’s pretty important lore to know, as the scandal is what really pushed her into the public eye (in a negative light). After Olivia released “driver’s license”, the internet assumed the blonde girl Olivia was talking about in the song was Sabrina and ran with it. “because I liked a boy” is Sabrina finally telling her side of the story. People are always thrown off by the opening fork line in “how many things”, lol. “you used a fork once/turns out forks are fucking everywhere”- she’s jokingly saying that even something as simple as picking up a fork makes her think of him again. She can’t escape the thought of him. My top tracks are “tornado warnings”, “fast times”, “decode”, and “opposite”. opposite is one of my favorite songs she’s ever written, and I really wish it was longer. There’s just something about it… everytime i listen to it, “Lil Brina” has me mad at a man that I don’t have 😂
