Holly: A lot of cultures associate Holly with the Holidays, since it's berries maintain their bright color during the Holiday season. The most common symbolism for Holly is happiness at the home throughout the cold months. In Celtic Mythology, it also symbolizes peace and goodwill. Due to it's resistance to lightning, Holly is also associated with the Celtic and Norse gods of Thunder, Taranis and Thor, and was planted near dwellings to protect from lightening strikes!
Tanzanite: Only discovered in the second half of the 20th century, Tanzanite is believed to be one of the most important gemstone finds in the last 2000 years. The blue-purple gemstone is believed to help transform negative thoughts and energy into positives ones. They're also believed to increase self-awareness and help expressing suppressed feelings and emotions, along with increasing trust, and representing guidance to turn big dreams into realities.
Pear: December is National Pear Month! In many cultures spanning thousands of years, the Pear is a symbol of divine sustenance, abundance and longevity. The Pear tree is known to live a long life and produce an abundancy of fruit for decades, which is perhaps why the Chinese believe that the pear is also a symbol of immortality. When it's ripe and soft, the pear symbolizes success in your emotional but also professional relationships, along with joy, happiness. When the pear is juicy, it means good times, in love.
