I am so beyond excited to see your reaction to the full Eras Tour performance! I was so fortunate to get to see it in New Orleans, and even though I was in the nosebleeds, it was still just an absolutely insane and amazing thing to actually see Taylor perform live for 3.5 hours straight! She is truly a phenomenal performer and simply an icon that will go down in history as one of the absolute best artists!

Constantly running around the stage, hitting poses right on cue, playing instruments, and singing LIVE the entire time. FOR 3.5 HOURS???? 40+ SONGS???? 149 SHOWS OVER A YEAR AND A HALF??? People can say what they want, but there aren’t many artists out there who even ATTEMPT to do something as ambitious as the Eras Tour. But this tour was a tribute to her fans. It was a love letter to everyone who has supported her over the last 20 years and anyone who has just recently come along for the ride. She pulled out all the punches and gave her fans an experience that we will never forget. Anyone who hates on Taylor Swift is ignorant. She’s an incredible musician and performer and genuinely cares for her fans. I am curious as to when you think you might react to Miss Americana? I know you said you wanted to wait to react to Reputation until Taylor’s Version is released, but it may be beneficial to watch the documentary before you dive into Lover (or any of the albums prior to it, honestly). She filmed the documentary while she was touring for Reputation and writing Lover, so you will hear snippets of different songs from both albums, BUT it will also give you A TON of insight as to where she was at mentally while writing her first 5 albums. It touches on her breaking out of that “good-girl” image that you were talking about, and not so much because she wanted to, but she had to. I think having that background knowledge will help you appreciate the early albums more and understand the evolution of her discography. AND you’ll be able to pick up more easily on Easter eggs in the lyrics on first listen. Hope that makes sense!
