I really had to go there with the monster fighting, didn't I? lol. But really, I had fun with this audio. I know I center a lot of Geralt's worries and senses with fear and the idea of fear, but I have the headcanon that so often he only smells fear from people that not smelling it is a novelty, and the fact that his emotions are dulled, that positive emotions towards him are a novel thing as well. Regardless, I hope you like it, and I hope I didn't go too overboard with the sfx lol.

Geralt: Look, I don't know what you were anticipating when saying that you wanted to go with me on a hunt......this isn't a game.....and if you're trying to prove to me that you're brave or something, then you're sorely mistaken.....the only thing that's going to happen, is that you're going to wind up dead.

So wait here, where it's safe, and I'll return come sunrise.....

*pause*

You don't need to worry.....this isn't my first monster hunt......

*fade out*

*Battle noises*

*huffing and battle noises*

*growls* Bastard.

What?! What are you doing here? I thought I told you to--

*growls and swings at monster*

*clashing and fighting noises*

*panting softly* I don't have the time or the power to be able to protect you and kill it, so you need to go--

*shuffling*

It's something that will give me an edge--*gulps down potion*--*hisses sharply*

Regardless of knowing magic, you still could've gotten yourself killed......I didn't ask for any favors.....I told you this isn't my first monster hunt, and it certainly isn't going to be my last....

I'm......riled up because of the potion I took.......it........gives me an advantage against my foes........

*sighs* I'm not facing you.....because it also--*sighs*

I don't usually enjoy being around humans when I use this potion.....or.....magic users......it.......

It allows me to see a being's.......deepest....darkest secrets.....had to fight a monster in a town square once.......the aftermath.....was even more overwhelming.......than usual......

Interesting how those who call upon someone to destroy a monster will turn on their liberator once the monster is dead and gone......

*long pause*

Yes......I did see......it was.....unavoidable......another reason why I didn't want you to come with me.....

I say and do things for a reason.....even if I don't explain it in full.......

I smelled it on you today......and--*sighs* While....I cannot attest to my own feelings on the matter currently.......I can say that.....smelling the fear on you.....it.....hurt.....in a way I didn't expect......
