Hey there! It's Julian! This audio I wanted to have Julian maybe giving tips and tricks to stay warm, but it really just turned into domestic fluff, whoops! We all need that sometimes though, don't we? Anyways, I hope you enjoy! This is the last public audio for this year, and I can't believe it! Here's to a new year and a new decade!

What mission was so important that you needed to be out in this weather?

The marketplace? What could you possibly need there that you couldn't wait?

*pause*

I see....I suppose that answer is as good as any.....

*pause*

Me? Well.....*clears throat* I was on my way to see you and passed by the baker that you like so much.....and....

Yes....ther pumpkin bread is quite good.....

Now.....shall I escort you home so you don't freeze?

*pause*

Walk *with* you then......

Not bred for the cold? It's alright, not many people are....

*pause*

Well....bad example, but I'm one of the people who was......

Not to say that I enjoy it all that much.....I like it when it's warm sure.....but more in the middle is my favorite, especially the Autumn.....when all the leaves are changing and the world looks as though it is made of colors.....

You know, I was all about exploring other places for a while, trying to see the most of the world that I could. I didn't want to be stuck in one place for too long. I wanted to witness what was outside my own personal worldview.....

Have you ever thought of doing any travelling?

*pause*

Well, I would suggest it if you can.....especially perhaps to get out of the cold?

Here, let me help you with your bags.....that way you can smuggle your hands away in your layers..... 

*chuckles*

You really should get gloves, since now that your arms are gone you really do just look like a walking lump of fabric.....a giant walking carpet maybe.....

*chuckles*

Come now then, giant carpet, let's get you back to your shop.....

Would you like coffee, tea....something like that? Hot chocolate.....

*chuckles* 

No one can resist the call of hot chocolate.....

Here.....sit.....I can make it.... warm yourself up. You can turn yourself into an even larger pile of fabric now....

*pause*

Despite what most people believe, I was in fact a doctor, so I'm not a complete disaster.....

*dishes clinking*

There....nothing like a hot drink to keep you warm, yes?

*pause*

Oh..no....you wouldn't want to try mine.....it's black coffee......too bitter for most people....

Eh, you learn to drink it when it's one of the only luxuries you get on a pirate ship.....

*pause*

What's it like? Oh....warmer for sure....despite the fact that you're surrounded by water all the time.....

I got sunburned quite frequently.....I'm not built for much sun perhaps but I do enjoy it.....

*pause*

That sort of sunlight feels like......when you're sitting almost too close to a fire.... but you close your eyes and just.....enjoy the warmth. It automatically puts a smile on your face and you just exist for a moment, your mind not thinking about anything else, just enjoying life.....

But....while I did enjoy it immensely for the time I did it.....there was one day where instead of looking ahead to a new adventure.....I looked behind....and knew that I needed to settle some things here......

*pause*

And I am.....very glad that I returned here.......and.....met you.....

*long pause*

*long exhale*

It's.....nice to be able to relax with you like this......just sort of stay indoors.....and let the entire world just....well just......fall away.....

It's moments like these that I remember that.....the world isn't so bad....if that makes sense.....that the way things haven been are not the way things always will be.....that there's some sense of hope on the horizon....a sense of peace....

I have you to thank for much of it......and I cannot thank you enough.....

Every time I see you.....every time I spend time with you, I'm reminded that this is where I need to be......something pulled me back to Vesuvia......and I think it was you......

*chuckles softly*

......You are going to do great things in this world.....here in Vesuvia....there is something about you that is different, that is.......you're exactly what this place needs.....and as long as you're here.....I know that everything is going to be alright and work out in the end.....

I don't believe I'm the only one who thinks that.....I'm sure the others believe that as well.....

You may not be what Vesuvia asked for.....but you are what it needs, I'm sure of it.....
