Greenhouse Devlog 1/10/25 - Many sketches indeed (Nsfw sketches)

I hope you're all doing well. :3
Firstly, I'd like to say I have bad news and good news..
I'm definitely a bad news first type of person so I'll give that now. :<
I wasn't able to complete all ~158 sketches this month. I was on pace for a good while but I could feel burnout creeping in and quality started to slip a bit, so I slowed down slightly and had to rest some days.. As I've said in the past, I'd definitely rather just slow down than put out boring slop. I'm pretty sure nobody wants to play that..
I think my goal was a bit unrealistic, especially given the chaos of December.
The good news is that I was more productive this month than any month I've ever worked on Greenhouse. In this way I see this month as a success, even though I didn't reach my goal. I was able to finish up 7 scenes during this time, leaving me only 3 to go. It's been quite the whirlwind of sexual feelings transitioning through so many different scenes. ๐ I'll easily be able to finish the final 3 and move on in January. ๐ธ
I've given some thought as to what I'll be doing next.. I wanted to start coloring but it would make way more sense for me to lock in the writing for the chapter. My writing may affect which sketches I'll use and which I don't actually need. It would be a shame to color an illustration and then end up not needing it.. Occasionally I'll have to create extra sketches based on my writing too. So yeah I'm probably going to chisel away at the in depth scene writing for most or all of the chapter next. โ๏ธ

2025-01-12 07:55:10 +0000 UTCI hear ya. Ch3 is definitely more emotional at moments but it's not exactly a soap opera.. Which I think is probably a good thing since I'm not amazing at writing stuff like that. I've got a lot of time on my hands is all. :>

Still, love what I see from the little snippets from the preview, just a question, will there be cuddles afterwards?

2025-01-11 16:34:18 +0000 UTCI think it's very smart to work through the writing first. If you can make an emotional story arc, even better! No rush, would rather you and the reader/players have the best experience than see you rush something out that is less than what you're capable of. I'm really amazed how fast you have been cranking out illustrations and as a fellow creative I'm a little jealous.
