The second that Cassidy was picked, I knew I wanted an audio where he's his summer skin, because it's ridiculous and I love it. I kind of built the story around how the listener might react to seeing him for the first time in a long while, and this was the result. I hope you all enjoy a little Ocean vacay with Cassidy!

*pause*

…….What? Is there….somethin’ on my face?

*laughing* No….I know, I know. It ain’t the best dye job in the world by a longshot. My advice, never let Genji convince you to dye your hair in a hotel bathroom.

*pause*

Oh, he’ll tell you that you need to go undercover for a mission, change your appearance just enough so that no one will get suspicious, and the next thing you know your head is dunked underneath a freezing faucet and your eyes and nose are stingin’ because you’ve put enough bleach on your head that your hair might actually just up and fall out. It’s gonna take an eternity to grow out.

Naw, it’s not that bad…..it goes ok with the lifeguard look, dont it?

*chuckles* Nice, ain’t it? Got a harbor and everythin’, so we could go out sailin’ later if ya want?

No really, Genji’s got one hell of a poker face. I must’ve asked him several times if he was absolutely sure it was a good idea to go through with it, and he, with the most serious look in his eyes and tone said, “Yes, McCree, I’ve worked against this organization before, and I would greatly advise it”.

Again, cue me looking like a total ass with my hair brassier than a fuckin’ trumpet and Genji trying not to laugh his entire cybernetic ass off at me from afar while I’m trying to be diplomatic and professional. That’s what you get for trustin’ him.

*sighs* (‘Fwew!’) It’s hotter’n Satan’s ass out here…...Bet the water’s gonna feel amazin’ though. C’mon, looks like there ain’t that many people round neither.

*pause*

Oh, what’re you snickerin’ about now?

*pause* The roots?

*chuckles* I told you, it’s gonna take forever to grow back out. Plus, I didn’t have the time to do nothin’ about it before I got here.

I mean, I always could just dye it back as close as I could but, you sure as hell believe I ain’t letting Genji anywhere near me or my head for at the very least the foreseeable future. Or at least until I prank him back, whichever comes first.

*sloshing of water along with ocean noises*

Sometimes, nothin’ feels better than sinkin’ your feet into the sand and just lettin’ the waves swirl around ya.

Why here?

Well…...I guess…..it feels far enough away from everythin’ else in our lives that it could almost be just you and me…...just…..bein’, you know? But close enough to civilization…..and indoor plumbing.

*snorts* Trust me, once you don’t have regular indoor plumbing, you never take it for granted again…..

*pause*

Somethin’ about this…..just…..standin’ here…..bein’ with you, even if it’s just for a short time…..makes everything we do worth it.

I know that….we worry about eachother a lot…..I mean, who wouldn’t in our situation, with Overwatch and the things that we do and the time that we’re spent apart…….whenever I see you again, it’s almost like I’m seeing you for the first time again…...and it makes me remember how much I love you…..and how much you mean to me…….and that I shouldn’t take the time we spend together for granted either.

Every moment you spend here with me, in my arms, is something I cherish…..and somethin’ I hope to remember for the rest of my life…..
