Do you believe in magic?

Hi everyone! I hope you all enjoy this month's new audio! I had a lot of fun thinking about the subject of what I was gonna do with the Guzma audio, and it was really fun to add the elements that I did with it, and keep with the mythical magical theme. I hope you all enjoy it as well!

Guzma: I don't know.....I mean....it's kinda hard to maybe not believe in magic when creatures like Pokemon exist.....

I know, I know, before you say anything, I know like, most of a lot of the stuff that pokemon can do or have done can be explained by science, but just like....go with me here for a second?

Think about it. Remember when you were a kid, and even though Pokemon are a part of ya like from basically the get go, until you get into school and start learnin' about 'em, everything they do seems like fuckin' magic. I mean, havin' a fire pokemon just make fire outta nowhere? Or ghost types, who could disappear and reappear somewhere else? Even the idea of a pokemon evolving in front of us was magic. Going from the pokemon you know into something different but still the same and they still know you? That kinda shit is fuckin' bonkers, even with the explanation of science. Just because we can prove how pokemon do the things that they do, doesn’t make it any less amazing. Didn't you ever think that the world we live in is so fucking magical, it's crazy?

....I mean yeah, I guess I'm known to maybe be someone who over thinks things but how can I not? Sometimes I think about Pokemon, how there are these creatures, and some of them chose to cohabitate and become friends with humans, and decide that they want to travel, to battle, and to be companions with us. They understand us and.....they love us.....it's.....it's the norm to us, something that we've always known and taken as what it is but like.....what if we lived in a world where it was different?

We're so lucky, is all I'm saying, that these magical creatures want to be with us, wanna be friends and companions, beings that could verily easily hurt us badly if they wanted, but they don't. You don't think that's magical?

*pause*

Yeah.....not a lot of people think about stuff like that. *shrugs* guess I do.

I don't know.....I guess I was thinkin' about how lucky I am to be here, on this Earth, where I am now.....with.....with all the things I have.......with you.....thinkin' about how much it would suck if the world wasn't the way that it is. My Pokemon are my best friends....my family....and you......

You mean a lot to me too.....

*chuckles* Yeah, yeah, I'm a sap......but don't go tellin' no one else......

*sighs*

Sunsets like this are magical too.......it's like the world slows down for a bit, and the whole world is bathed in colors it normally isn't........

I wish it could stay like this forever......

*pause*

Did you ever hear the myth about Ho-oh when you were a kid?

You know, where if you see Ho-Oh during the sunset and it's all sparkly and golden and shit, it'll grant you any wish you want?

I mean.....if it were easy to see Ho-Oh, then everybody would be getting wishes, wouldn't they?

*pause*

I mean.....there are weirder and more outlandish things in the world than Ho-Oh granting a wish......I mean, I've heard that Ho-Oh resurrected some Pokemon that perished in a tower and that's how the Legendary Beast Pokemon came to be.....so, like I said, a wish ain’t that weird.

*pause*

I mean, we both got sucked into like, an alternate dimension and stuff with weird and freaky monsters that weren’t pokemon, but something else entirely terrifying, so at this point.....I think there's some truth to pretty much any big story like that. I mean.....even if there isn't....it's somethin' to think about....isn't it?

Yeah, yeah, laugh it up....a lotta people seem to think that I don't have the capacity for higher thought like this. Think I’m just worrying or overthinkin’ over stupid shit but hey...people don't usually wanna get to know me......

*pause*

Except for maybe you.......

It's nice, yeah.....havin' someone like you......

*groans*

*sarcastic* I take it back. You're terrible, I never wanna talk to you ever again.

*chuckles* Nah....nah.....that couldn't be further from the truth.

*breathes*

*sighs*

Hm?

What? What's wrong? You've gone all quiet and tense and stuff.

*pause*

Ok, you're startin' to kinda freak me out, is it somethin' over there, near the---sun....set?

*breathes*

Well.......I'll be damned.......

Is that....?

*breathes* Holy shit......

Ok, so.....you're not hallucinating, and.......*I'm* not hallucinating right.....that's actually.......

*breathes* Ho-Oh........

*whispers*

Holy shit.........

*chuckles breathlessly*
