Page 1, at long last. I won't have full body poses every page, only for important points and so on. The goal here is to show Amanda, her personal value for hard work against easy pay, and our first common citizen. As this goes along there'll be more, which is where cameos will be coming in. Key characters will have to be created by me or provided with permission by others, but I'll have to stress that they can't choose the direction the story goes in or how the character is presented. I know how many god characters are out there, willing to either totally fix everything in Amandas life forever or turn her into a sheep, and that's not the point of giving a character struggles and problems that they have to face and grow from.
Yes, her arm is all kinds of wonky, forearm's too long, elbow's tiny, etc. I did have a better version at one point but I lost a whole day's progress and had forgotten what I'd either fixed or needed fixing. Instead, admire the background there. First version was much worse, so losing the save file had some benefits. The first one specifically focused on a bunch of hard-to-render carrots, and a bit of a hill. So, lost the file, felt ill, slept on it, woke up, re-drew everything from almost scratch, and ended up realizing that the next bit will be her going into the town proper so I have a chance to show the town from afar. I also got to try out some art tricks I learned, practiced with brushes, and so on.
