FEEDBACK NEEDED: Patreon Rewards
Added 2019-08-21 10:52:19 +0000 UTCHey guys! If you all could take a moment or two to offer me some feedback I'd really appreciate it. I'm trying to improve how I offer my rewards here on patreon: Specifically the Dragon Dollars.
Three different times I've either had to approach someone directly as they were accumulating so many, or they commissioned me and didn't know they had any and were surprised to find they had those rewards.
So first I wanted to ask: is the Dragon Dollar system confusing? if so how can i make it simpler? Please leave me comments or message me privately if you have any suggestions.
The main question though, is about tracking them. I track them myself in the background every month you all are charged so i know how many everyone has. But, short of me sending everyone that gets them a message every month with their current number I don't know of a good way to easily and privately communicate that to you all.
So my question is this:
would anyone have any objection or concern about me making that public? Say i create a public Excel sheet that shows each of your usernames and how many Dragon Dollars you have accrued, that any of my patrons would be able to see, so that any of you can check at any time to see how many dragon dollars you have. Is that something you would be ok with? do you WANT that? or would you rather that information not be publicly available?
If you would prefer NOT to have them shown publicly, could you send me a private message and let me know why? The feedback would be greatly appreciated so i can continue to try to improve everyone's experience here. Also if you have any other suggestions I'm all ears for those as well!
Thank you all for your time :)

honestly if folks are cool with that info being public, I say GO for it. With my credit system, I spent a lot of time informing people of how many they had because I thought it was important for that information to stay private. Thinking about it, I'm not sure WHY I thought that was important, because I never really asked. So while privacy definitely comes first if that's an issue, I think it'd streamline things a bit if you were allowed to make that info public.

2019-08-22 00:35:26 +0000 UTCI think the Dragon Dollar system is easy enough to understand. It's possible that those clients simply didn't properly read the update where you introduced the system. The lack of a visual reminder that they do have them might also have been the cause, so in that sense having something public that tallies the dollars of those eligible for them could be a good solution. I didn't vote in the poll, since I'm not at that tier and I don't feel like it's my place to vote on it, but the kind of excel sheet you mentioned could work fine, especially if you could make the sheet appear on the patreon page. And if I was on a tier like that, I personally wouldn't mind it being public.
