Documentary of Documental S1E2 - English Sub

Documentary of Documental Season 1 Episode 2 - "Season 0"

The second and final episode of this season. It shows the "phantom" (pilot) season of Documental. This is where it all began.

My proofreader couldn't find the time to go over this episode, but I have done my best to make sure it's in decent shape. The episode is in a pretty good state, so I didn't want to delay uploading it.

If you guys see any errors or issues, let me know either by commenting or by sending me a DM.

I am going to continue working on the "Stroll To See Celebrities" series, then I will see where to go from there.

Thanks for watching, and thanks for the support!

I'll upload the .srt file alongside the next upload. Want some more time with it to make sure that it's proper..

Make sure to use the entire link. The decryption key cuts off.

• Spoiler - In one of the seasons of Documental, Matsumoto talks about how Uchima was one of the worst contenders in Documental. "He just sat there, he didn't do anything". I believe this occurred when Maeda Ken (the other half of Slim Club) contended.

Comments

Just wanted to say thanks again for doing this series. It was a fascinating look at the origins of the game and a necessary experiment to figure out how to best produce results. Clearly, the biggest revelation here was to curb the "unlimited" time limit, since everyone hits a wall around hour 6 anyway. A big part of it is the actual casting and seeing the chemistry between the players. I also feel like none of them really prepared any gags beforehand, so there were a lot of lulls in the play. All this stuff was obviously fixed or improved for season 1, so it was all worth it in the end. I'm still surprised how 90% of the complete structure had already been worked out before they even made the pilot. Good stuff. Edit to say: I only found a couple of minor grammar errors, but nothing that takes away from the humor. If you need another proofreader in the future, I'd be happy to take it on for you.

Thank you Thanks! Are you going to be subbing Documental S11 afterward your next project?
