Game news - itch.io deindexed lewd games
Added 2025-07-24 13:15:09 +0000 UTCItch.io has deindexed all adult NSFW content (not just my game) from their browse and search pages. This happened because itch.io’s payment processors had concerns about certain NSFW games containing illegal content. It's not clear yet what it all means in the long run. We can only hope for the best outcome!
We already have a few backup ideas. One of these is to create a separate SFW version of the game. If this is permitted and does not contravene the rules, it could contain a link to the NSFW version. Although creating a second version would take extra time, it would help to keep the project on itch.
