I have some unfortunate news to share. Tonight, I was hit by a speeding bicycle. To make matters worse, it was a hit-and-run, and the rider fled the scene. I’ve already filed a police report, and they are currently looking for the person responsible.

I spent the entire night in the ER, and the good news is that there are no broken bones (looks like those calcium tablets I’ve been taking actually paid off!). However, I do have significant soft tissue damage and scratches.

While I’m lucky to have avoided serious injury, I’m currently limping and in quite a bit of pain. Even sitting down at my desk is difficult right now. Because of this, I need to take a little time off to rest and recover.

This means that this month’s post and the upcoming software update will likely be delayed. I apologize for the wait, but I promise to get back to work as soon as I’m physically up for it.
