In the next update, the previous [Sequential decoding] feature will be upgraded to [Image decode threads]. Waifu2x will automatically adjust the number of decode threads based on your PC's specifications to ensure optimal performance.
In my tests (involving 2x upscaling multiple folders of images), this new feature has boosted image upscaling speed by up to 87.94%.
This performance boost will be available in the next update, thank you for continuing to support this project! 💕
