The upcoming update will introduce a faster video encoding method. When the "Process Video by Segment" feature is activated, Waifu2x will employ a more efficient technique to compile video segments into the final product, significantly decreasing the assembly time.
For instance, when using the standard H.264 encoder, saving in MKV format, with both upscale and frame interpolation applied to a video of 3 minutes and 44 seconds, and with "Process Video by Segment" enabled, there is a notable reduction in the time needed to assemble the video segments.
This new video encoding method will be available in the next update, thank you for continuing to support this project! 💕💕💕💕💕

I won't say impossible, but sometimes waifu2x need to re-encode video stream for compatibility
