Feel gutted for everyone who worked so hard and put so much meaning about issues they care about like Gaza and climate and housing into supporting progressives in this election… perspective from Wills , disagree that advance messaging didn’t work, kinda but also never got so much physical or digital spam from them and other conservatives, who cares, but when their message is also lining up with the spam from Labor, so much of it, these messages must reinforce each other. The lie that voting greens supports Dutton repeated in every format is enough to make it seem true? But the material reality also has to support the lie, and so I wonder if that many people really feel the bite of cost of living, rent rises, maybe people are more relaxed and comfortable than we want to admit?
