2022

Well!
It's been quite a year for me, and you patrons definitely played a part into it!
Opening this began as a way to help those who kept asking to be able to financially partake in my creation and now look at the 140 of you !

Here and on discord #curious-patrons, you now feel to me like a heartwarming and natural extension of those who already appreciated my visions everywhere with a comment, a word, a collaboration.

And since you all came here with the acceptance of my creative whim as the only possible rule for a patreon... it's my turn to give you something in return and show you what you supported only this year.

With this ridiculously high resolution picture, I've tried to gather all that I've been proud of this year, all that felt like an achievement and a creative move forward. There were things for me and me alone, visions I needed to bring to life. Things for the community as a whole. And yes, that's new, things for you patrons and you alone.

So what did I create and what happened in 2022 ?

- It was already ongoing, but the move from DAZ to Blender is a no-return one. I've kept DAZ for posing, but everything else, modeling, editing, simulations, lighting, shading, rendering is done in Blender. There's just so much creative freedom with it that I just couldn't not wouldn't come back to a cramped software and that's for the best : I NEED HUGE, INFINITE AMOUNTS OF CREATIVE SPACE.

- Thanks to this move and practicing, I've been able to create more and more complex and engaging pictures. Destruction is now easier than before, smoke simulations are everywhere, spawn millions of particles at the tip of my finger, I can edit my body and those of my friends and make sure that everything looks as natural as I expect it to be ( no more plastic boobies and floating hair ! ) and I hope you felt that change as well.

- I can create Cities too ! This project I've tried to do for so long without succeeding, likely because I didn't know blender enough and now, now... it exists ! It's not perfect, it's not a final version, it has exhausted me, but it exists, and I've not doubt that I'll complete and share it with everyone at a point.

- Oh ! And I can animate too ! I might have been a tad too ambitious with my first animations and my slow computer, but I know that I'm coming back to animating this next year : there's so much to be told. I hope the one I already published made you shiver with the immersion *grins*

- Stellar, naturally. This intimate story of mine has finally been told.

- And aaaaaall the many pictures I've created, each a reflection of a thought, a desire, a simple idea sometimes. I keep marvelling at the fact that my visions are resounding with you all, sometimes lightly, sometimes very deep and to the core. These are my favorites and I demand your comments when it happens !

- What else ? I'm sure I missed something. Oh. FluidForDaz. I'll mention it casually as if nothing, but I'm pretty sure it's used here and there by the creators.

What can you expect for 2023 ?

I've no idea, as ever, and the outcome will likely look like this joyous mess of a timeline you see up there. If this sense, you know exactly what to expect.

But I can tell you what I'd like to do :

- Bombe 2

- A finalized cities!

- Animations ( trust me there are a lot I want to do. Did I show you my car crush simulations ? the use of simplicage for smashing through physically simulated buildings ? You'll see )

Aaaaand that wraps it up ! Or not. 2022 isn't over yet!
