Sweet Sarah: A History.

Before I ever even DREW Sarah... She came about as an idea. A concept... In 2008
She was the gamer that was pretty good at Team Fortress 2, and was obsessed with cool ingame hats.
No... that was me...
I wanted those hats!
But I couldn't get them fast enough.
So I had to ask one day, was there a way to get people to part with scrap metal and lame hats in that game for cheap?
Short answer was: Yeah there was.
I would always play that game, and there would be a total unskilled (but nice) girl playing with some expensive ass hat....
I would ask them how they get those hats and I was always disappointed with the answer.
"Some guy gave it to me."
My idea was simple, and was more of an experiment that went too far: If you pose as a girl playing video games, dudes will give you free stuff if you ask nicely.
To be clear, I never conned anyone out of a really good hat. Instead I would just use the name and the persona to get the best deal on trades.

But whats a good name?
Whats a good... girl next door name?
Whats the name of that hot girl. Not any specific hot girl in my life, but just A hot girl that you know of. That ANYONE knows of..... Sarah.
Why is that such a... hot girl name...  Sarah... I like it. Its soft. It feels.... pink somehow... She would have brown hair and glasses, like one of those girls on "The Chive"
Sarah feels right. Sweet!
Sweet.....
Sweet.... Sarah... Perfect.

Sarah would be my alter ego on Team Fortress 2 for a month or so, till guilt set in.
I was basically cat fishing people on the internet... After a while I felt guilty and I stopped. It was wrong to do that. After that "come to jesus moment" Sarah went away for a long time. Little did I realize however that while posing as a gamer girl called Sweet Sarah I basically planted the seeds of her personality...

Fast forward 3-4 years

The year was November 11th 2012
I had just started my path as an adult art creator. I made my account on Hentai Foundry and I was doing rule 34 content, and taking commissions.

I was getting comfortable making adult art but my drawings were still not up to scratch but I was trying anyway. I was also drawing more than I ever was!

One day I decided I wanted to make a signature character. Not really an avatar, I had the monkey for that... But someone who I wanted to make famous... someone people could identify with. A cute girl next door type, who was a bit naughty... hell a lot naughty.

Someone to trigger that "aww shes so adorable" feeling.
Someone to trigger that "oh man I wish she were my girlfriend" feeling.
Someone you loved, but also wanted to bang.... or SEE get banged.
She had to be sexy that's a given... But she also had to be sweet.
Sweet.... Sweet Sarah....

I had no idea I would ever bring her back. But here she is. The brunette with big glasses and a pair of big..... blue eyes. With the face on an angel and the hairstyle of Kitty Pryde from "X-Men Evolution"

Thats how Sarah was born and well this is what she looked like then, and what she looks like now!

I'm not the best like, historian hahah but I just decided to write this on the fly for you guys to go along with this cool "first and last drawing of your OC" meme

Its also fun looking back at her earliest incarnation and noticing the changes I made to her design over 7 odd years and how much I improved as an artist in the same time period. I can't believe I used to draw that way!

But now you know the origin of Sweet Sarah!
