Raff outwardly showed very little sexual interest in Birdie because 1. he's only ever dated other dragonborn and originally it was kinda startling he liked her as much as he did and 2. he's very private 3. he has some baggage so any advances were more romantic/any mention of sexual intent makes him stumble and blush BUT behind closed doors he's very pent up and does nothing about it for a while until it can't be ignored.
Then he feels like a creep and the cycle continues with him getting more desperate until a single brush of her fingers on his skin leads to him thinking about it all day. He just likes her a lot ok??
Once they begin seeing each other he likes to pretend hes not a freak so Birdie is like "i must be a freak, I won't bother him anymore because clearly my drive is higher" and it lasts about a week with her not making a first move, and then during a short rest she offers to collect the nights firewood and a certain someone is immediately volunteering to help her and is on her heels until they are far from camp before he admits he'd like her right there and now. Obviously she agrees
