Added 2024-01-02 08:21:32 +0000 UTCA new year is upon us! I’ve been enjoy my vacations very much and I can’t wait to start content for these new beginnings ♥️
As a little starting I thought I’d save a little recipes I came up with for the holidays if any of you lovelies are wine enthusiast ♥️
Here’s my little Spiced Wine Recipe for you 😌
Spiced wine
1 bottle of red ( Cabernet Sauvignon)
2 cinnamon sticks
Pinch of cloves or star anis (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and sliced thin
A pinch of whole peppercorns
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 whole orange sliced
2 shots of brandy
1 shot of Port
Combine all ingredients except brandy and port in a large saucepan over medium low heat. Bring to just under a simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and leave covered at room temperature overnight.
Add brandy and port, mix then strain ingredients. Can be served warm or at room temperature! Enjoy 💋
