Cute Kyle Muscle Map Test

I just wanted to see what I could do in terms of making a realistic human body look a little stylized and overly cute while still passing as somewhat realistic. Or in other words: I had some fun playing around with the character lol
I tested a feature that would allow me to add a new level of detail to the musculature. Until now I avoided it due to a lack of understanding. I took some hours and adjusted every detail until I was satisfied. I think it massively improves the anatomy! Especially the pecs look really hot in my opinion!
Please tell me what you think of his muscle detail and I am also curious to know what you think of this overly cute bodyshape.

I think it is nice to have him not be huge, yet quite ripped for a change, but I can totally understand that that's not for everyone! For the body shape I just tried to use all the tricks I learned in the past to make a character look rather cartoonish and I am happy to hear that itr worked out!

2020-08-07 10:15:05 +0000 UTCThe level of detail/striations is definitely good, but would feel more at home on a more muscle-grown stage, I feel. At his current level of development, it's a teensy bit jarring, like he has less than 1% body fat on a Twunk body. 🤔 The body shape overall works, it's a somewhat cartoonishly-exaggerated V-shape a bit reminiscent of Disney's Aladdin, and it does look pleasing to the eye. 😉

It really does add an extra level of detail to the characters but I personally don't like overly defined muscle details in the same way that I don't like overly veiny characters. Now I'm the one feeling as though I'm just being negative.
