Thanks for the feedback, I will totally do the burnt effect on the grass. I want to practice with my airbrush more before I try the wings though as I only just bought my first one. This critique really got me motivated to paint again so for that I also thank you.

On my brass scorpion I didn’t do any sponging it’s a technique i made where you lather a zenithal in a uneven dark base coat making sure to leave the brush marks then load up a brush with contrasts and shades soaking the area but not mixing them allowing them to flow into each other and blend together.
