What's under there?

Hi guys.

First of all I want to give a big thank you to all of you for supporting me! 

When I talked about having problems trying to work on the game and dealing with life stuff I was honestly expecting to see a big sub drop, so… yep, I’m not sure what else can I say about this.

So I’ll just leave you all with the usual unnecessarily long post.

This is probably the longest time I've been without posting anything, haven't I?

I had what artist usually call a "block", I started and then threw away a lot of sketches the past few weeks, I end up with a fair bunch of them I like a fair amount, and I thought of posting 3 or 4 of them together, but probably posting them one by one as the days go by is the best to keep patreon active.

When it comes to thinking about Dawn scenes, I always go back to situations when she's somehow getting embarrassed in front of you.

Since she's really bland as a character in DPPt I tried adding parts of the personality her anime and manga counterparts have, and I somehow ended up making her really cocky, I think she's overall a fun character, but it's nothing like I originally planned her to be.

All of this comes out to say... that I think that keeping a general theme between any given character scenes helps to make them more memorable (Not sure if that's the right word).

Anyway, in this scene Mawile will be a central piece of sort, I mention it in the Mawile post, but in a lot of the dex entries it said that Mawile's cuteness is just the facade of a heartless predator, I saw no point on using that part of her character since nowhere else is Mawile ever represented as such.

But thinking more about it, and since she's basically a little yellow goblin, I think that taking that and shaping it to make her a mischievous little creature would be funny.

So the idea is that once you catch her, you go around visiting the characters and having Mawile interact with them to then finish with one scene with just you and her.

I have more things to comment about the update and other dev stuff, but I'll probably save them for future posts, so all of them have my usual yapping!

One last thing though, twitter has always been a problematic page, but now they want to use the art posted there to generate AI images, and for any decent artist that's a big no no.

I've heard a lot about Bluesky, even someone commented about that here, but do people really use it or is just a minority being noisy? no bad blood here, I just don't know.
