I swear I've seen this comment before re the confusion between DPI (dots per inch) and resolution (PPI - pixels per inch). Where DPI only matters in print; so 3400 px w/ 72 DPI would be an image size (printed) of ~42" wide and 61" tall. it having a higher DPI would mean a smaller print image, not more detail/larger since the number of pixels displayed is same.
