Update

Hey everyone! I'm still working on Chapter 7 of Taylor Made. It's the longest chapter so far at 7k words (Chapter 6 was 5.5k). 😬 These characters are really special to me, and I want to make sure the story is told to the best of my ability.

It should definitely be out tomorrow (Saturday). Sorry for the delay!

As a consolation, here's a "real life" version of Taylor in Boston. 😊

Thanks, Robert! I hope Taylor finds his (her?) way, too. It's just that the path from who we are to who we need to be is never a straight line. And yes! I love Boston. I went to college there, just like Taylor - although NOT at MIT 🤣 The whole vibe is just unmatched. Go Sox!

Thank you so much for this, and for your patience, Diana. It means a lot. I'm so glad you're enjoying the art! This one was a lot of fun - a glimpse beyond the more stylized art for the story. So you can definitely think of this as the 'real' Taylor who is telling her story. I love that!

That’s a very powerful image, Emory: the set of the jaw, the resolve and determination in the eyes. All the doubt and uncertainty that have plagued Taylor from the start of the story have disappeared. Let’s hope that’s how it all works out in the end. And Boston is the city in the US that I know and love the best. Go Red Sox!

No worries Emory, your work is always worth the wait. And little consolation prizes like this picture of Taylor certainly make the wait all that much more bearable. I have to say the artistic style you chose for Taylor Made is great. But this real life is amazing! It actually helps me buy into the story a little better. Not telling you the artist how to write your own story, but it might make for a really cool final episode if you did it all in real life style with Taylor talking with an editor and publisher as they show her the final draft of her illustrated life story about to be published under the title of course "Taylor Made". Anyway, just a thought. Thanks for the heads-up and the beautiful artwork adding more beauty to a lovely Saturday morning.
