This episode was both fun and hard to write. Chris and Kayla love each other, but is love always enough to keep two people together?
But, of course, there's also a larger story out there. Bella is still on the loose, isn't she? π

2023-10-12 05:15:38 +0000 UTCIβm on travel and bored, so I wanted to toss out directions I think Emory could go with regard to Cindy 1) Cindy tells Ben 2) Cindy doesnβt tell Ben After that convo, or lack of, Cindy could A) Get in touch with Chris β which had previously happened B) Find Chris and warn her C) Try to find Chris but fail Following that, i) The Cunt hunts down and βpunishesβ Cindy ii) Bella and The Cunt donβt, but Benβs partner does something to Cindy iii) Cindy flees, fearing retribution from Bella If Ben gets info from Cindy, a) He confirms to Kayla that Chris isnβt hallucinating (fat chance of that!) b) Keeps the info to himself and continues to lie to Kayla

Now, she is saying that Chris' altered body doesn't matter to her... but what about his altered mind? How long can she endure "Kris" being a part of their relationship? Cindy is back! Yes! Obviously, she's still struggling to fully embrace Chris. While she may still have strong feelings for him, accepting "Kris" as a romantic partner seems challenging for her. It's DEFINITELY possible that Kayla's heterosexuality plays a role in her struggle to connect, but I think it's also that she could sense it wasn't wholly Chris she was sleeping with.

He just can't seem to fully accept Chris's new feminine form - or that it was forced on him. Is that only because it would mean he "stole" his best friend's girl while he was being tormented? Kayla's reconnection with Chris is a really complex journey for her. Will she make it all the way? Part of why I wanted to create this story is to answer that question. Chris's transformation (I hope) raises questions about identity and desires... and the delicate balance between embracing change and holding onto the past. Thank you! π

I can understand why you draw connections between him and Bella. Both characters possess a certain coldness and revel in exerting control over others! As for Cindy's release, you raise an interesting point. Bella's motives seem straight-forward (according to her), but maybe she's more enigmatic than she seems? Cindy did accumulate the necessary points for freedom. Was she the first? Bella's decision to let her go might stem from a calculated risk. Perhaps Bella believes that those who have undergone such transformations are unlikely to speak out, fearing the consequences (Bella has threatened Chris' family) or feeling a warped sense of loyalty. Hmmm... Ah, the tattoo! It's not explicitly meant to resemble Prince Molag Bal from the Elder Scrolls, your observation is intriguing. Perhaps Kris's tattoo holds a connection to themes of domination and brutality, much like the Lord of Domination himself. π

2023-09-20 00:57:57 +0000 UTCI'm not surprised that Kris couldn't just flip back. He still hasn't integrated Kris into his core being - Kris is a shield he's used to using when he had to perform sex. He had to keep Kris there after the act because it wasn't emotionally safe to switch back after a client - perhaps he had another coming and didn't dare take a "Chris break" for fear of not being able to turn Kris back on. If so, then it's habit that his Chris personality only came to the forefront after sleep, or when it was 'safe' again and the client had left. Kayla was still there - habit said keep Kris until the customer has left. His ife for 3 years was Sex = Kris. Poor Chris has a long ways to go before he can be intimate with Kayla with Chris as his active personality. Either that, or he has to speed up integrating his two personalities into one. And therein lies fear - what if Kayla doesn't like Kris? Or an integrated Chris/Kris? Chris must suspect she notices the difference, but that Chris/Kris duality sthe elephant in the room, and I suspect it's going to take a long time for the two to e ven begin to talk about it, let alone work to embrace and accept it. The big question is can they solve that before other events overtake them.

It only remains for me to reemphasize, at the risk of becoming tiresome, that your art is incredible, but your stories are amazing. π€― The Chris/Kris split personality is going to be a challenge for Kayla to overcome. She still only sees Chris, as Chris 1.1 not the Chris/Kris 2.0 he/she is now, so they both have a long way to go.... ...and Cindy! what a nice surprise to see her back in the story. π Personal theory for the next chapter: Cindy doesn't come out to Benjamin. She denies knowing who she is. Benjamin leaves with the fly behind his ear... and is fingered by Bella and the Cunt's organization, since Cindy's employer belongs to or helps that organization.... Hello Benjamina! ...but at the same time Cindy contacts Chris to warn him, because Chris was not sincere with Kayla and the Police when he told them that he did not find Cindy when he was released, but he did find her and both are teaming up to take down the Organization (this would be part of the subplot of Chris' release "agreement" and the month he has to execute it or to start it...) π

2023-09-17 20:58:36 +0000 UTCAnd as I suspected, Kayla DID notice the difference between Kris and Chris, that Kris gives and gives but doesn't know how to reciprocate. It's clear the love and passion is there, but is it for someone that Kayla fears no longer exists? Is Kayla going to figure out how to help Chris in time, or is Ben-the-asshat going to screw things up for Chris and Kayla and never give her that chance? What happens first - Ben interferes by deliberately trying to sabotage Chris and Kayla, or Chris finds some incriminating evidence of Kayla's involvement with Ben and Ben's profession of love? And what if there are other secrets that Kayla has kept from Chris due to losing him and now can't because of how those secrets might totally destroy Chris? This is a magnificent story of human suffering and emotion and need for healing. I think that we're going to find a LOT more secrets and events, and some twisted plotting and scheming. I am going to wait quite impatiently for the next chapter, and the next, and the one after that, until the story is complete and we know how all the loose ends tie together! (I am so rooting for Ben and his associate to be the next ones 'converted' by Bella!) This is SO GOOD!

You loved Chris for sure but you definitely have little to no feelings toward Kris. Unfortunately to you he can't be Chris back again... It is either you learn to love Kris or you'll break up... Maybe you're "too heterosexual" for him...? You say he performed cold and robotic on you... I saw a great skill and a lot of experience backed up by enormous amount of passion because of you... I hardly see your future as lovers... friends maybe but leaving him in bed and going to another bed alone while he was still sleeping was kinda hurtful... Nonetheless I'll keep my fingers crossed for your learning skills ;) And Ben... please continue to dig into that case the more you dig the sooner you'll know what happened... ON YOURSELF muahahahaha. Can't wait to see Kyla's reaction when she'll see Benjamina for the first time :}

I had hoped the night of passion he gave Kayla would be the beginning of her reconnecting and re-embracing him in his new feminine form. Maybe if it was Chris rather than Kris in control she may be able open to re- embrace this new version of her fiancΓ©? As I said Emory you have left your readers guessing which direction this story will take!?

Your art and story-telling truly is divine, how you combine man's descent into cruelty with the strength to accept and overcome their misery and draw strength from the inhumane pain and suffering inflicted on them by the Second Dawn. I cannot...EXACTLY & PRECISELY...remember what panel of what Phase of Jack & Jill had the morally loathsome Mr. Davis boasting about selling the toys and companions for a "cut" (your words, not mine) and bragging about a house in Aspen but I think of him and Xu to a lesser extent when I'm reminded of Bella. Cindy is free, but there something I fail to understand: why let her go even if she accumulated the 5000 points? Isn't Bella afraid that if not Cindy...someone else she let go would blab to the cops? Or does he own the cops? P.S Just asking for a female "friend": Is Kris's tattoo supposed to BE or resemble Prince Molag Bal, the Lord of Domination and Brutality from Elder Scrolls?
