For all the panic, pleading, change - at the end of it you're both this amazing thing - a man transformed beyond recognition. And a woman. 51% of the population. And yet it's a whole new world. There's a blissful 5 seconds on waking for one of these women, and then she remembers. And feels the breasts move a little. And the negative space between the legs... and it rushes back to her. One day, I hope, she'll feel peace. And have a man's strong arm around her on waking. Maybe in a few years the sound of her baby in crib opposite... But for now, all she needs to do - is be a woman.
