"God of Gacha, please, I beg you!"
Clapping my hands and praying toward the Window, I tapped the screen. The blue crystal began to shine, and lights flew out. They turned into cards and appeared in front of me.
*[N] [R] [HN] [N] [N] [HN] [N] [N] [N] [HR]*
"Uwaaaah! So lame!"
My second 10-pull, this is too stingy!
While I was in shock, the cards on the screen flipped over, displaying the rewards.
*[N (Stats +5)] [R (Points +300)] [HN (Stats +10)] [N (Stats +5)] [N (Points +50)] [HN (Points +100)] [N (Gacha +3)] [N (Stats +5)] [N (Points +50)] [HR (Stats +50)]*
"Uwah! It's almost all stats and points!"
Kuuh! Was there some kind of modifier on my first 10-pull?! This result is so pathetic it makes me think so!
Well, thanks to the guaranteed HR, my disappointment is slightly lessened, but it's still too disappointing. Luck... I don't have enough Luck!
"Here, I'll dump all the stats into Luck!"
Operating the Window, I allocated all the stat points to Luck.
*[Stamina]* 48 (Average for age)
*[Mana]* 15 (No talent)
*[Strength]* 48 (Average for age)
*[Endurance]* 40 (Average for age)
*[Dexterity]* 50 (Average for age)
*[Agility]* 51 (Average for age)
*[Intelligence]* 480 (Wise)
*[Luck]* 237 (Normal) +75 UP
"Hmm, the comment doesn't change. Means I can't receive the blessings of luck yet..."
Just how much do I have to raise it to receive the benefits? Since there's no explanation for this part, I have no choice but to raise it blindly.
"Let's see, I got 500 points, so my current points are 1195. Oh, crossed a thousand points! With this, I should have a little breathing room!"
The more points the merrier. But since they disappear quickly when used, I have to think carefully about how to use them.
Right now, I'm using points on pencils and erasers. Since large orders might come in the future, it's better to save points for that time.
Today's gacha wasn't good, but points are accumulating steadily, and my stats are rising too. Man, possibilities are expanding.
If I keep increasing them like this, I look forward to seeing how my life will change. Speaking of life, tomorrow is finally the day for vocational experience.
If I recall, on the first day, we're visiting the Knight Order. The Knight Order has a special district near the royal castle where knights gather, and we're supposed to visit there.
There, we'll listen to things about the Knight Order and consider it as a future option. Well, I'm more interested in adventurers than knights, but since I had to choose two, I picked the Knight Order because of that.
I don't expect much, but if I'm going, I have to see if it's an interesting place. I'm already looking forward to seeing what kind of place it is.

The next day, when I went to school, we immediately split up by vocational experience. When I joined the group going to the Knight Order, amazingly, everyone else was a boy.
"Wow, I'm the only girl!"
"Hah? Rio is a girl?"
"She's not that cute of a gender."
"Rather than a girl, I thought she was the gender 'Rio'."
When I voiced my surprise, the boys nearby snorted and disparaged me. Hearing that, I put on a smile and—
"Geez, boys are so... I'm gonna kill you."
" " "Crap!" " "
I went to hit them for real. The boys ran away, but my feet were surprisingly fast, and I caught them immediately. Then, I beat them up with all my might. Phew... evil has perished.
"Hey, Rio! Stop playing and line up properly!"
"But, the boys were~"
Scolded by the teacher, I protested sulkily. Hearing that, the teacher sighed and lightly warned the boys. That's too little; poor bullied me deserves more pity than that!
If you don't scold them more severely, my pride as a girl will be—
While I was thinking that—
"Ohh, amazing!"
"Here he comes, here he comes!"
"Wow, so cool!"
The boys lined up in the same row cheered. Wondering what it was, I looked over and saw a knight clad in silver armor walking towards us.
"It's the real thing!"
"Man, that's nice."
"Knights are cool!"
The boys were gazing at the knight with sparkling eyes. Hmm, certainly, seeing one up close like this is cool. But if you become a knight, you have to wear armor, so that must be tough.
While I watched calmly, the knight and the teacher exchanged a few words and turned to face us.
"Now then, everyone. This is Gray Harland of the Royal Capital Knight Order, Second Division, who will be acting as your guide."
The man in silver armor—Gray-san—placed a hand on his chest and bowed politely. Up close, his armor was etched with numerous scratches, showing he had survived actual combat. His hair was cropped short, and though his gaze was sharp, there was also a certain gentleness to it.
"For today, I will have you all experience the work of a knight. Training and patrols are not the only jobs. Negotiations to protect the safety of the town, creating records, and responding to residents' consultations are also worthy duties."
"Eh, you do records too?"
"Is there paperwork?"
"You don't just fight monsters?"
Murmurs rose. The boys looked like they wanted to say, "We want to do more sword training."
Gray-san smiled wryly and shrugged lightly.
"Swinging a sword is important, but without knowledge and sincerity, the people won't follow. I want you to learn that today."
At those words, I straightened my back a little. How should I put it... unlike his rugged appearance, he seems like a person with decent thinking.
"Well then, let's depart. It's a bit of a walk to the Royal Capital Knight Order's training grounds. If you have questions on the way, feel free to ask."
Gray-san started walking, and we formed a line and followed.
The boys immediately fired off questions in high spirits, asking things like "What kind of swords do you use?!" or "Have you fought monsters before?!"
Gray-san answered those questions carefully one by one. His tone wasn't pushy, and he explained while skillfully picking up on the children's interests.
Amidst that liveliness, we walked to the training grounds.
