Status Window Chapter 13 : Results After Ten Days

13. Results After Ten Days

Piron

"Oh, it rang!"

The moment I finished cleaning the room, the usual notification sound rang out. When I displayed the Window, it showed that the daily quest was complete and that all of today's daily quests had been achieved.

"Yay, with this, I've completed ten days of daily quests!"

Overcome with joy, I collapsed onto the bed. This sense of accomplishment could become addictive.

"Fufufu. Now then, shall we check how much I've improved?"

I opened the Window and first checked my own status.

*[Stamina]* 48 (Average for age) +4 UP

*[Mana]* 15 (No talent) +4 UP

*[Strength]* 46 (Average for age) +6 UP

*[Endurance]* 39 (Average for age) +4 UP

*[Dexterity]* 48 (Average for age) +6 UP

*[Agility]* 50 (Average for age) +4 UP

*[Intelligence]* 479 (Wise) +5 UP

*[Luck]* 131 (Normal) +5 UP

"Yup, my stats are growing steadily. Surprisingly, they're rising pretty evenly."

Clearing daily quests that raise about three to four abilities every day for ten days, they've gone up by an average of five each. The numerical increase is tiny, but it's fun because they go up every day if I work at it diligently.

"Points are at 179, huh. If it's just from daily quests, I guess this is about right."

Daily quests that give points appear once or twice a day. Clearing all of them, this is how many points I've accumulated.

It doesn't increase explosively, but it is accumulating steadily. But that's not the important part of daily quests. Getting gacha counts is the big deal.

"As expected, it's all about the gacha. If I get good items from the gacha, my abilities will skyrocket, and I'll get points too. I have to bet on the gacha!"

If I can pull good things from the gacha, that alone will completely change the situation. I have to somehow raise my luck and make it so I can pull good things.

Thinking that, I looked at the gacha count I'd saved up until now. However, the display there had changed slightly.

"Ah, it's set up so I can pull ten at once now. Hmm."

It seems when you save up ten pulls, you can do a bulk pull. Casually placing my finger on the text, an explanation appeared.

"'Guaranteed one HR or higher with a 10-pull'... Guaranteed one HR or higher?!"

To think it's guaranteed that I'll pull something good with a bulk pull! HR is the middle rarity, fourth from both the bottom and the top. Honestly speaking, having that guaranteed is a blessing.

"Rather than pulling one by one, if it's guaranteed, it's way more profitable to pull in bulk! I saved up gacha counts thinking 'maybe,' but I'm glad something good came of it!"

With this, even with my current low luck, I can pull good things. Could it be that if I save up even more counts, there's a possibility of getting even better things?

"For now, I guess I'll try pulling ten times. Now, what kind of result will I get?"

Heart pounding, I pressed the gacha screen. The blue crystal began to glow, and from its tip, multiple lights were born and started spinning around. Then, as they came to the front of the screen, the lights burst.

The cards that appeared were— *[N] [N] [HN] [HN] [N] [R] [N] [HR] [N] [SR]*.

"Eh, wait! An SR appeared besides the HR!"

Oh my god! I never expected something HR or higher would appear!

While I was bewildered, the cards on the screen flipped over, displaying the rewards.

[N (Stats +5)] [N (Points +50)] [HN (Points +100)] [HN (Gacha +5)] [N (Stats +5)] [R (Stats +20)] [N (Gacha +3)] [HR (Points +500)] [N (Points +50)] [SR (Special Talent: Charm)]

"Special Talent... Charm? Eh, Charm!?"

The item that appeared as SR was a special talent. However, Charm as a special talent... how is that?

I went to the Special Talent column and looked at the explanation for Charm.

"Let's see... 'A quality that naturally makes one liked by people. Smiles, gestures, and way of speaking give the other party a sense of security and familiarity. Impressions at first meetings become good, and negotiations, transactions, and requests become easier to succeed.' ...Eh, isn't this a really good special talent!?"

What is this talent! Isn't this an essential ability for building human relationships from now on! Plus, it's a talent that seems usable when selling items obtained through point exchange!

"Truly, a talent you want in the early game. With this, won't I be able to move efficiently in various ways? Kukuku, this is a talent worth grinding with."

It's like giving an iron club to an ogre! As long as I have this, I won't have trouble with people. I won... this is a guaranteed win!

Now, looking at the others... The HR gave me 500 points. This is huge. Since I was thinking of earning money through point exchange, having a lot of points from the start gives a different sense of security.

The R is Stats +20, huh. This is big. Since it doesn't say which one goes up, I guess I can allocate this freely. Being able to add +30 in total is good.

The rest feel so-so. Even so, my gacha count increased by +8. That means if I achieve the daily quests for two days, I can pull another ten times.

...Isn't the gacha crazy? The rewards are too big compared to the daily quests. It's almost like completing all daily quests mainly for the sake of gacha counts will become the primary objective.

In that case, the stat value I should raise is decided.

"Plus 30 to Luck!"

I operated the status screen and allocated the points to Luck.

*[Stamina]* 48 (Average for age)

*[Mana]* 15 (No talent)

*[Strength]* 46 (Average for age)

*[Endurance]* 39 (Average for age)

*[Dexterity]* 48 (Average for age)

*[Agility]* 50 (Average for age)

*[Intelligence]* 479 (Wise)

*[Luck]* 161 (Normal) +30 UP

"Still normal, huh... Until this changes, I want to allocate stat values to Luck."

I want to raise other stats too, but what I should do first is raise Luck to pull good things from the gacha. If I can keep pulling good things from the gacha, the probability of increasing various things will rise.

Since I'm not going adventuring yet, it's okay if other stats are low. Once it's decided that I'm going adventuring, I can just concentrate on raising them then.

"I guess the stats are fine like this. Now, next is points but... I've already decided how to use them!"

With this gacha, my points increased to a total of 879. Using this, I'll start a business!
