Quest 3 Recommendations

Resolution in Meta app
If you have a high end GPU then I prefer to set your ideal/baseline res here, and then can fine tune/adjust if needed in individual games where you have too little/much headroom. 4704x2528 is ok but 4864x2592 seems ideal
Otherwise, leaving default and then increasing supersampling in specific games where you have lots of headroom may be ideal. e.g. for AC1, the default quest res of 4128x2208 with a 1.25 pixels per display override gives a similar image to just setting 4864x2592 directly in the headset.
Link settings
In Oculus Debug Tool or Oculus Tray Tool:
700Mbps Encode bitrate seems ideal on wired/h264 (default)
The other settings seem fine on default
FOV-Tangent Multiplier can be a useful way to gain headroom, i use Oculus Tray Tool to set custom values per game.
Comments
yeah fov tangent is really helpful, although would be nice if more games supported foveated rendering as you can get a decent boost from that without starting to crop visible periphery. not sure on the second GPU point. i think it'd need to be pretty strong, as when i was on rtx2060 i think that setting the link encode bitrate high (say 500mbps or more) had too much impact on the gpu, whereas now on rtx4070 its no issue.
