ibuki actually had injury on her right arm :(( that may be why there were less waacking elements in her battle, you could see she did more moves using her left arm.

2025-06-06 11:13:35 +0000 UTCKyoka and two other members of OJO gang did a reaction and I think itβs a very interesting watch. They mention the inconsistency in judging criteria. JY Park first thing mentions that he is judging for technique and then goes on to do the opposite in most cases. I personally think that for this section MNET should have brought battlers because the No Respect Section is rooted in battle format. You can watch Trix or Waxxcyβs reaction and clearly see how they bring much more depth in judgement and understanding of such a format. Mike Song would be amazing for sections like mega crew or JYP for the class missions and the lady judge too but how do you bring three choreographers and more commercial dancers to judge a street dance battle, call-out sorta section?! The show is at a point where the show itself is so big to a point where you do not need judges who are well known to the public to draw more attention. It would give the show more credibility to bring experts in the respected format of each mission that can make sound judgements, even if the public does not know them well and they are more based in the underground scene. I just hope that MNET does justice for the elimination battles. If they repeat this at the expense of a crew getting eliminated because the judges donβt see their offerings, I would just be really disappointed. Every dancer on this show deserves to have their own expertise acknowledged and rewarded.

2025-05-31 09:01:25 +0000 UTC1. omg trixx and Waackxxxy would slay as judges! I dont remember jblack - hit the stage wow what a throwback! I hope they get some of these battlers on later this season when we're battling for our lives! 2. just in general and not specific to this show, I think knowing who the dancers are or where they came from is a bit irrelevant to judging. if a world champion goes up on there and does not live up to their title vs. an unknown dancer who absolutely kills it, it's still gonna go to the better dancer in that moment. regardless of their title or lack there of. another example: if a Tony award winning singer goes up on stage and sings but cracks at the bridge vs. an unknown singer who nails the same song, the former's Tony win won't matter. the amateur singer is the better singer in that specific moment. I hope this makes sense. that's not to say that I agree with putting less value on technique. even though I get why they go with performance more for judging, I do wish technique was more emphasized. 3. ah ya I'm not really taking the drama seriously. been doing this enough time to know mnet plays everything up lol.

2025-05-30 15:41:36 +0000 UTCThere are so many things that I wanna say, lets start with the judges. 1. The fact that NONE of the judges are battlers yet judging a battle is INSANE to me. The judge should always be the one with more expertise not the other way around. Proof is Trixx, Waackxxxy and jblack ( if you remember him for hit the stage), all well known, seasoned battlers, agreeing that Kyoka and Danica deserved the win, ESPECIALLY Kyoka. 2. When you mentioned that Mike shouldn't tell the other judges about the dancers, you missed a huge point. That is the fact that those judges don't know these profound dancers? Yet they qualify to judge them? These are not typical unknown dancers. They are as he keeps repeating world champions. I, myself, not being able to walk straight let alone dance know more about the battle and dance scene than the judges? I can look past everything but not knowing Kyoka is ridiculous and just goes to show they aren't involved in the dance scene enough to judge. 3. I just have to mention that AG squad leader posted a story where she basically said her words are taken out of context and she loves RF girls. I mean are we surprised but just keep that in mind.

But for Kyoka/Rie Hara and Danica/Gabee, the skill and technique shown in those performances should have clearly won. You can even see from the reactions on social media, the performance didnβt persuade non-dancer viewers on those 2 battles.
