All their songs translate well to band arrangements and even acoustic versions. There is something about their music production that makes it take on different lives in different arrangements. Also, Lisa starts her solo with pole dancing in the world tour (except in their Saudi Arabia show, for religious reasons—it was a very interesting show though). One thing you’ll notice with Blackpink is that they embrace the idea that they have backtrack vocals. They don’t hide it—they make it work for them and not against them. I admire them for that. Also, Lovesick Girls in Weekend 1 made me cry. It was pure magic. There were Korean flags waved by people in the audience and they made the crowd sing “love” in their verses. I highly recommend you watch that version. Gave me chills. I am so proud of them 🥹

2023-05-25 02:18:20 +0000 UTCI don’t think ppl had a problem with Lisas actual performance but the 1st weekend she was a bit sassier with the cursing but she toned it down for the 2nd weekend cause her mom was there 😅 that’s probably what ppl meant but performance wise I def think she spayed both 🥰

I just wanted to mention something, the dancers had two AMAZING dance breaks during the outfit changing ( before and after the solo stages ) they were incredibly good and they elevated the show as well but unfortunately I guess it was edited out on the version you watched ):
