this is a random comment but I'm binging Jeff's reaction to Reborn rich and saw your comment on the semiconductors. Your comment about the shortage is very true, there is a major shortage of silicon and it continues to this date. I work at Intel and thought this conversation was interesting haha

Idk if you're interested in this but I think it's fitting you'd mention the high demand, as there has been a semiconductor shortage that's been going on for a whiiile now (2020-present: it had technically started before corona but the pandemic was the final straw) which affects the entire world. The shortage is the only reason I know anything about semiconductors lmao. I heard about it when they have had issues with the Playstation 5 production (it was also why they still make it in pretty small batches), and then also found out the prices of graphics cards had gone up to 3x their original prices due to the same reason. No semiconductors = no chipsets = no working product. Or in this case low supply, EXTREMELY high demand which in some cases translates to astronomical prices.

Thus, highly sought after, resulting in a lot of money when the business get's big. And because it is needed in all electrical things, there is no worry for a decline in demand. I have absolutely no knowledge of semiconductors, but this was my understanding of it after reading your comment.

In case you are still wondering what a semiconductor is, it's pretty much in the name. It's a material that conducts electricity better than an insulator (example: glass) but not the same as pure conductors (example: copper). Silicon is a pretty common semiconductor. They're a highly essential material for components in computers or other electronic devices usually put under 4 general categories: microprocessors, memory, commodity integrated circuit, and complex SOC. Even cars have semiconductor components in the brake systems, airbag systems and so on. Some names in the semiconductor industry would include Nvidia, Qualcomm, Samsung, Apple, Sony, Intel - I think you get the gist :D Now, keep in mind my explanation is a very stripped down version even though this comment ended up being way longer than I anticipated lol, sorry to anyone who might read this
