2022-04-10 23:36:44 +0000 UTCChangbin didn't pass the second round because he made a mistake with the lyrics out of nervousness and that completely threw him off. JYP Idols are not used to hip hop culture and 'rap battles' because that isn't how they're being trained and that's not the kind of environment they're in. Plus some people just don't do well under a lot of pressure and nervousness, it's different for every individual. Not doing well there doesn't make him any less of a good rapper. Changbin has been recognized as more than just an 'idol rapper' and praised for his tone, his delivery, his pronunciation, his rhymes and smart wordplays countless times by people that really know what they're talking about. So I think it's a little unfair and almost biased sounding to say that they're not there yet just bc of things like smtm. But agree to disagree

2022-04-10 23:33:10 +0000 UTCI have so much to say about this episode :) First I think it's funny how stray kids started practicing for the battle 1 week before when for ikon/ winner vs Got7/day6 YG informed winner and ikon the night before. It was really hard for them. For me I always prefer YG side JYP groups are not really my style (it's always been like that) For the idol rap vs underground rap there is quite a difference that almost all YG idol where able to break (GD, TOP, Bobby ...) but Strays kids aren't really there yet I think ex: changbin on show me the money didn't pass the second round like most idols every year (some are really good as idol rapper : Ravi, Vernon, joohyeon ...) Here is my point on some of the point you talked about in the video I hope one day you'll watch win to see the previous battle it was amazing too :)

That's why in this episode you see JYP saying "personally I felt we won the last YG vs JYP battle" since they never finalized on the winners. And they leave it up to the viewers to decide who we think won this whole battle overall.
