2021-02-19 18:56:28 +0000 UTCI honestly felt like Rockhyeon and Seyong had it the worst... they had to eliminate their group mates. Hyukjin is from 100% as well, they debuted in 2013. And then Gunwoo is from MYNAME, they debuted in 2011. So this is eliminating your group mate and in Seyong's case, hyung and leader of 7 years.

2021-02-04 18:14:35 +0000 UTCim quite late but i do wanna answer your question: yes i have checked out jeup's i can hear you voice cover! it was so beautiful and i got so many goosebumps! i have stanned imfact for quite long now & jeup is indeed an amazing vocalist, can't wait to see more of him after he finished his military service. ungjae is gorgeous too, he's my bias in imfact hehe

She really didn't get as much attention and edits as she deserved, and I think it's in part because she is the youngest. I really want her to be in a girl group in the future that actually utilizes powerful dance moves rather than cute/sexy ones

2021-01-09 22:10:49 +0000 UTCI know you mentioned how the show looks a bit “dated” in comparison to the Produce series, but The Unit actually was after both seasons of Produce 101 but before Produce 48 and X101. It’s just that they have a much smaller budget, likely because it’s on a smaller network.

LOL I realized that back then I didn’t know who I wanted to be in Top 9 except for Daewon then next mission happened and well biases changed very much so. Next, I wasn’t really into Feeldog during this time but how he’s talking about being positive and all reminds me of the quote he lives by BPNN “Be Positive No Negative”. I am not kidding when I say that this quote has taken a huge part of my life ever since I learned of this. Just BPNN alone reminded me of too much memories. Like a lot of em. Next mission is going to be sick! I can’t wait!!!

GOODDAY disbanded and she re-debuted with some of her members as CIGNATURE, sister group of CIX. C9 created a label to manage the girls it's called J9. They debuted in 2020 and got nominated for rookie of the year in MAMA. Lucky's stage name is now Belle. Their leader Heejin, the one in Jackpot who sings well, is now a producer/lyricist and she got married last year.

2021-01-09 15:13:55 +0000 UTCyeah! In most cases the groups disband and you don't see much interaction from them after that. The Unit boys at least still seem to be in touch, even the ones who didn't make it to the final group. Some of them even continued to work together after the unit...it was seriously cool to see... I really find that the difference between The Unit and other similar competitions is how the contestants were really family-like as a whole. Hangyul said in a recent interview that he had a lot of fun on The Unit, and Produce on the other hand was very tough. I would post the link to the interview at the end of the unit reactions maybe (in case it becomes a spoiler for Jeff!). Hyosun also did a video with Crazy Grace (of Unpretty Rapstar fame) and also said that the atmosphere on the Unit was one where the contestants really supported each other!

2021-01-09 14:46:49 +0000 UTCHehehe that was Ungjae who’s in the same group as Jeup (Imfact). Euna Kim is referred to in that way cos she’s American (probably)? She started out joining Superstar K …I think they referred to her as Euna Kim then, and probably it stuck? I didn’t like the line up for both the girls and the boys units so much at this point in time…there were some whom I didn’t quite understand rank so high…won’t spoil for what comes later though! I feel like folks like Jeup, Rockhyun, Lee Geon, Semmi, etc. could do well as soloist really… This ep was a fun one with lots of random bits and pieces tho. Hahah next ep is going to be fun. Looking forward to it! And serious the profile pics in the white uniform is really…just bad lol.

I can hear jun of ace's voice and raehwan better 🤧🤧 i hope you check it out jeff 🤧 Also for this mission. Music Video for first place. And Performance video for second place. HAHA very unpredictable I must say. Btw, you're right U-Kiss JUN is the same height with RAIN (185cm). Although here it says that he's only 184cm. He's actually the tallest here in The Unit. HAHA Glad to see him also as center in the Drama Awards show because some of his colleagues/friends are there too! That must be a proud moment (he's an actor ☺️)

2021-01-09 12:11:14 +0000 UTCHonestly I don't expect groups debuting from survival shows with a very big number of participants to be cohesive because people don't think about the group's cohesiveness when voting they just want their biases to debut and I don't blame them it is a mistake to make this kind if shows to begin with because even if the show is popular none of the groups that debuted from these kind of shows succeeded as a group and you can tell that the people behind these kind of shows know that because they always set a very short time for the group to promote together and then disband them in 1 or 2 years. it is sad because they are using these trainees dreams to make a show that seems like it is giving them a chance when they know that the outcome won't succeed.
