Hope you're all doing great!
Let's start of this month with a brand new dungeon theme! This song, together with additional mind-blowing SFX & ambiences Michael composed, is a part of our new wonderful collaboration with Stained Karbon Maps.
The songwriting process for this song was really interesting! Besides the various tiptoeing woodwind instruments, mysterious string motives and subtle timpani, I also used a couple of low-end synths and electronic leads to add a little bit of sci-fi color to it! And it turned out really weird, but awesome!
As always, I hope you'll enjoy listening to this song, as much as I enjoyed while composing it! :)

Exactly! I agree that my idea of keeping the synth subtle was a good one. I just didn't expect them to behave this good when layered with sting orchestra, haha. Thanks for the comment and good words as always, Rob! And yeah, Michael made an incredible SFX for this colab! :) - Filip

2022-02-04 21:34:40 +0000 UTCYeah I think it came out great! And I agree, the sci-fi synth sound actually work pretty well with this. I wouldn't have expected that, but perhaps it works also because they're very much in the background...as an undertone. Those SFX are awesome too!!
