Shadowfell fortress: Your ideas ?

I'll start working on a shadowfell fortress collaboration in a few days, with a well-known cartographer! I thought it'd be cool to ask for your opinion. What sounds would you imagine there? What atmosphere would fit ? Let your imagination run wild
(Both indoor and outdoor :) I'll do a big pack as usual!)
