Salutations my very dear patrons !

You voted for some mysterious fantasy music, here's Demetrian's Theme, a very special song to me ! That's my favourite composition ever, and definitely the one I'm the most proud of. Composition-wise, it's much more complexe than anything I've ever done, and I've tried to include as many cool instruments as possible, so in this song you can hear many instruments that are not used a lot by other youtube composers (Bassoon, oboe, english horn, trumpets, etc.) The objective was to create an atmosphere that would fit for Archmage Demetrian, the character I 'embody' when I write stories (the world I'm building, the D&D scenarios/campaign, romans, etc.). Demetrian is, before all, an historian and a linguist, though still an archmage by his deep understanding of the magic of Illusion, Conjuration and Transmutation.

I could have made the song much longer and better, and I hope some day I'll have the time to give it the attention it deserved, but I'll be leaving Switzerland for Australia for a month next week and I wanted to finish this song before. It already took me hours and hours, more than most of the other songs I created yet.

Why it took so long since last new song ? I'm currently working really hard on my first book. I contacted an editor and they are extremely interested by my work. It will also be featured in some magazines. That's a complexe and long process. I'll keep you updated :)
